  1. Lots of nasty people around, a number of them have contributed to this thread. Very heartless.
  2. Grammar and spelling too good as well.
  3. You don't need a leader to stay at home. You don't need a leader to tell the club to stick their season ticket renewals up their arse. That is the only protest Lowe and his cronied understand. An empty stadium will generate far more publicity than a march. Not that I'm knocking people who are actually trying to co-ordinate the marches. They deserve a pat on the back. The Saints Trust, I'm not too sure. Not radical enough for me.
  4. Brown made the lamentable decision to take regulation of the City away from the Bank of England shortly after the election win of 1997. At the same time he also gave them control of interest rates. Eddie George warned Brown of the consequences of taking away their regulation of the City. Unfortunately he was proved right. It wasn't his finest moment. However, I remain totally unconvinced that Cameron and the hapless Osbourne are the people to guide us through the choppy waters. Personally, I would like James Purnell as Prime Minister, Vincent Cable as Chancellor and David Davies as Home Secretary. Unfortunately, we have as much chance as Rupert Lowe leaving Saints.
  5. Can we afford to let Lowe choose another manager?
  6. Don't worry, the business savvy, financially prudent Lowe will get us back on track. Or at least that's what you were saying at the start of the season. Sweet.
  7. Don't protest inside the stadium. Just don't go, if you've paid for a season ticket look on it as a necessary sacrifice for the good of the club. It's the only language people like Lowe, Wilde and Askham understand. You won't be missing much anyway.
  8. So instead of concentrating their efforts on campaigns to rid the club of the calamitous Lowe and Wilde, they're asking the council to buy the ground. Leaving the same idiots in charge. The council will no doubt decline their kind offer. They might as well ask Paul Allen, they'll get the same answer. Brilliant, what a useless waste of space they are. Must check with my bank that a standing order has been cancelled.
  9. Thought he got injured in that game. I've never rated him. Keith Granger is coaching the keepers at the moment. He knows what he's talking about.
  10. If Lowe and Wilde went I would come back regardless of what division we were in. I feel disenfranchised nick. I don't recognise the club anymore.
  11. Hiltingbury, Hamble and Chilworth are stinking ghettoes. I rather like Woolston.
  12. Trouble is Robbie, that there are many ex-fans out there, me included, who really don't give a stuff anymore. It's worn us down. I don't go to games anymore, don't even listen on the radio, not bothered whether we win or lose. I don't think I can even be arsed to protest. Cheers Mike, cheers Rupert. I'm even getting bored of this forum. You only have to look at someone's username and you can pretty much guess what they are going to post (me included, I hasten to add). Time for a sabbatical I think.
  13. He must have been praying for Jack Straw to kick him out. He would never have been given the publicity otherwise. Well done Jack. Hopefully we'll also stop neo-conservative George W Bush from coming in, no, I didn't think so.
  14. I couldn't care less if he had the personality of Mother Teresa or Attila the Hun. It's the way he runs the football club that I've got a problem with. He's not that good.
  15. I agree Stu. Fair play for having a go. Boycott's are the only way to get anything changed. Lowe and his cabal only understand money. Askham would never have got rid of Branfoot, back in the day, if it not for greatly reduced attendances. Same situation here. He will continue to support Lowe until revenue dries up even more.
  16. Managed, owned and conned Portsmouth.
  17. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/7880833.stm Venables could offer badly needed stability and experience at Fratton Park. :D:D:D:D:D:D Must have been a Saints fan who wrote that article. Brilliant.
  18. That's right Jonah, it all the fault of the fans.....
  19. That's right Jonah. It's all the fault of the fans..... You haven't been chatting to Mr Illingsworth have you?
  20. Look forward to that. Will it be in joined up writing?
  21. Great wind-up. Fair play to you.
  22. OK, apologies for the 'insults'. But put me in the 'sceptical' camp.
  23. Fair enough. I suspect he's taking the mickey. If I am wrong, I'll be the first to apologise.
