I have used the BB Curve 8520 it was my friends and I wasn't that impressed to be honest, seems really slow and doesn't resize the page very well imo. Feels very underwhelming if you already have a ipod touch to do that for you. There is a great little piece of software called jokuspot you get on some Nokias (and is a free download for the phones it's not pre-installed on) and it uses your o2/orange/voda/whatever signal to output wifi. So you can then connect your ipod to your phone like this and surf away on your ipod like normal using your very own wifi. This does eat phone battery quite badly so isn't recommended for long term use in a day.

No matter how good comparatively people on here are, we would all be just as painful to watch in a top team. That being said I am sure they is one or two on here that could get into some obscure national team. I wouldn't mind having to play for the Maldives 8 times a season. :cool:

I would like to see Anthony Pulis' take on this discussion. I had a mate at the place I used to work who was 6'4 and was sure he could move to japan and become an elite defender. I think fitness and hard gratf can get you far in football, and that is also the kind of player the fans love.

I know I would look "Ali dia" but at least he got a shot at it. Fitness would be the biggest problem. Just imagine trying to mark Gerrard for a game. How many goals do you think ROnaldo could get himself in a Sunday league season?

Couple of months ago Danny Guthrie played in my local 7-a-side league. Half a pitch and he was better then everyone else, but not by miles you would maybe expect from a (former) premiership player. Pub conversation the other night. Say you were playing for Man U/Arsenal anyone you want. You could play where ever you want and the manager would think you were amazing so never gave you any instructions at all. You could take pens/free kicks if you like. How many goals do you think you could get in a season? I would get 5-6 imo, couple of penalties and maybe a scrappy drop at my feet from a corner kind of goal. But I would get dominated by every single defender in the premiership, even Titus Bramble.

I was made redundant from my job in retail I had been at for 6 years back in October. I had just finished a diploma in computerised/manual payroll admin that I studied from home. Which I was hoping would give me a chance to get a foothold on the career ladder but since October I have literally applied for 70+ jobs and not got a thing. I am 25 this month and have only ever worked retail, anybody any tips on what I should be doing or how to get myself a job as spending time on here during the day is killing me

Agree fully. Would have to be a Europe wide thing otherwise players having there wages capped in England would soon go to Spain of Italy. Have to say that perhaps League 2 (with exception of Notts County) have the right idea, no more than 60% of income to be spent on wages. In some american sports you get a wage cap, and it gives all teams a legitimate chance to sign big players. Would be great to see this in football, but with so many teams across so many divisions it would never work. For now I think football finance and the team with the richest owner being the big boys, is going to be an evil we have to accept.
