Didn't give him a kick yet he still played the pass to put Rooney through which led to the Utd goal? I agree Clyne is a class player for us, but as already said he is not close to getting a full England cap with Johnson, Walker and Jones in front of him.

It looks to me like we have almost settled for the one nil loss. No real intensity in our play at the moment.
-
Look at the two subs that have just come on JWP and Ryan Giggs, must be a 20 year age gap there.
-
Again Osvaldo should be doing better with that header.
-
Come on Rickie...
-
Half time and not too bad I suppose. Would be nice to get the intensity of the first 15 mins back. Been a little slow since the goal.

We are in danger of sitting too deep here. We rode our luck against Swansea, here we will get creamed if we do the same.

Just to do MLGs job for him - the beta went live today - and is now available to download on Steam. I will leave you all to your own opinions on how our beloved saints researcher has rated each of our players.

Agreed, I thought season 1 was the strongest first season of any show i have seen but it really went downhill in season 3/4 imo.

Also massive respect to the one person who got arrested for alcohol offenses at the women's Olympic football.

L'Equipe: Interview with Morgan Schneiderlin by Ramon Molina
Red Alert replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Sadly (for the French) I think you are right. I am obviously bias but for my money there are not many better at what Morgan does in the Prem, and if you can do it week in week out in this league then you should at least be getting a look in for your country. Again, not saying Morgan should, or even would play for England but he must have been here long enough now to qualify? -

All this talk of this Adnan fella at united playing for England you would like to think someone has spoken to Morgan about the opportunity to play for them. Not saying it should happen, but the France team is missing a trick not at least getting him in the squad. -
I agree wholeheartedly with this. It seems to me like we are not happy winning, so we have to moan about the style in which we are winning. Anyone who can't appreciate that our defensive solidarity will win us more points than a full out blitz on the opposition goal would do is a bit mental.

Another decent price for a midlands game £25. Can't, and won't grumble with that.
-
Is Monk still in retirement? Sure he would know if there was anything to this.
-
It looked to my eye a stone wall foul on him just on the edge of the area that wasn't given. Also his little chip forward for Osvaldo was just a touch ahead of him but I think Osvaldo will bring out the best in Gaston. Really looking forward to seeing those two together when in full flow.
-
Yeah I have a few quid on us to lose today, just to cover the petrol money. But that being said, i am very confident in our new look side so I am predicting a win.
-
I will have 2-1 with a very nervy last 20 mins.
-
Yeah but that would be a position that would surely see the best out of Gaston. Though at risk of going off point I should add - I am glad we signed Osvaldo, and we have done what all teams should do. Buy better than you have.

Osvaldo for Italy, Roma and Pochettino's Espanyol - Tactics
Red Alert replied to The9's topic in The Saints
To my eye SRL always seems to want to drift out to the left anyway. With Shaw being very capable up and down all game long in left back, could we not see a SRL playing the left of our forward 3, with J-Rod on the right, Osvaldo up top and Gaston in the middle of the three? As we have seen countless times last season we have plenty of possession, but struggled with the killer ball. Having SLR on the left would not give us much defensively but against teams we could expect to dominate for possession would give us huge goal scoring opportunities. Thats how I could see us working at home anyway. -
I park here, or in the mosque. Only a £5 and a dead easy walk. Takes a bloody age to get out though. Could ideally find somewhere that will get me back on the motorway quicker for my 3 hour drive home
-
Fairly sure we opened it up for Wigan last season too, not that it improves the stats though.
-
I am leaving for this one in around an hour and really not very excited by the prospect of it. Not sure if I am being far more negative than usual or just that on my previous 3 trips to WBA we have lost. Hopefully we can snatch something and really get underway next week.

Has your sporting tastes changed over time?

This is me almost perfectly now. I used to watch any footie that was on the telly. I always though some league 1 cloggers was still much better than anything else on the tv at the time. Now I find myself flicking around to see what else is on as I just dont get into it in the same way I used to. -
I had to pay my £1 booking fee for my internet purchase. Edit: However glad to see this sell out as first game of the season and at £25 a pop its a decent price too.
