Agree it’s an optimistic take but the basic point that we have some capable players who could be coached into being competitive and have a chance of staying up is a valid one. The alternative take is that nobody could be doing any better than RM and I simply don’t believe that.

Yep. If we’re being honest a draw was a fair result. Obviously gutting though, back to that familiar last minute goal against in the Prem feeling! There were positives, Fernandes, Dibling obviously, Ramsdale, others looking like they are growing into it at this level (THB, Downes), Sugawara looks like he belongs here, Stewart (in the bits I saw between fucking glitching streams) looked kind of capable(?), Archer at least had some decent chances and was a tad unlucky, esp for the first. To temper all that this is Ipswich at home, literally our most winnable fixture and it was a right old struggle.
