Intelligent post....if you are a baboon?
-
Is this what we should be discussing (on prime time forum) with the aid of a sticky? SFC could be going down the pan and the forum is becoming a gameshow? There are so many intelligent posters on here and perhaps the focus could reflect those who may have the ability to save the club from a very negative financial crunch!!
-
got to realize that if 900 fans returned cos RL left, that will be another 20,000 quid for that game. Easily enough to pay for the high earners put out on loan.

Hats off to Hull.. Keep it up, you are an inspiration

Why ignore a business model that is obviously working? -

Plead dementia rather than being a ***t -
This is the great problem....fan base stays away which will strangle RL but also force the club into administration.

No different than a bunch of bankers!

Heavy weight 15st private sector then SB.....i laugh!!!

because you are finding many more fences to sit on

Team selection and an agreed PR with the Echo were part of the deal with those parties involved in the return

you sound like a labour cabinet minister. Surely it is about time you mentioned the word 'global'

Ladies toilets??

who thinks it's gonna be another last day relegation fight?

I think that any supporter that attended all games realized that we were on the way down under Burley? Can you provide a correlation on the season that we were moving in the right direction? -
Come on Son Of Bob....apply some closure based on forum ethos rather than personal agenda?
-
Good to see you! Expect some decent input everytime we get a point?
-
I know nothing about Nick I....I assume that his day job reflects his standing as a spokesman for the average man (and woman etc)?
-
Pointless..nothing to do with SFC so stick to usual principles and move the thread - unless of course policy has changed?
-
Boo our fans? Now thats an interesting concept? Attendances would have to be pretty low though I would look forward to bringing my dog to the game!
-
Rather an immature response! Are we not comparing the attendances with last season when we finished in the bottom five?
-
Really do not want to post a response that signals that we have problems as a community but I saw stats the other day from John Lewis. Sales down 8% year on year nationally with Southampton and Bristol the worst performers with a 25% decline. Have absolutely no idea why we should be struggling unless it is dock related?
-
really intelligent response. I think its about people travelling less if the price of fuel is more rather than driving round the block twice because ASDA had an offer on fuel. Are you responding in a 'Carry on Ponty' way?
-
What is going on? Many fans are debating the abuse of a Premiership player whilst playing for England. For gods sake, let's get this forum back to debating SFC and the many issues that we have at this time. There is so much to discuss. The return of RL and the absolute negative affect that has in the eyes of many SFC supporters, the idea of total football without a defence and a ground that on matchdays resembles a car boot sale in the middle of winter. Although we have many views on player selection, we need to find a solution to the dwindling attendances. The club needs an answer as obviously they have no solution to the current problem. Whether you are a stayaway fan or not, we need to understand you and ensure that you would rather spend hard earned money on attending the next game.
-
Why are we still debating Ashley Cole on a SFC forum?? seems that the usual rules are being ignored for the sake of retaining viewers?
-
Couldn't agree more. Myself, son and six of his teenage friends have not watched more than one game this season - thats from being season ticket holders in the Itchen corner last season. Going to a game is about habit, destroy that and you have lost those fans for the future!
-
Very good point! The credit crunch will bring many teams back to our level but a year behind. If David Luker can build a supporters model based on tomorrows football rather than todays, we may rise out the ashes a much stronger club. I doubt that either he has the ability or the flexibility.
