  1. Amnesty given on payment of a fiver!!
  2. I seem to remember it was at the end of an extremely wet spell and there were puddles on the pitch, with the ball not bouncing, just going splat!!
  3. I've just got a Nokia X6 from vodafone as a replacement after my antique mobile finally quit! As a bit of a technophobe, I was wondering if there is a Saints App similar to the iphone one that will work on it?
  4. Late 80's listened to Saints beat Liverpool from the jungle in Belize, and listened many times in the Falkland Islands. Most desolate place? Anglesey!
  5. A similar piece written in The Times today as well, quoting 30 applications with at least one Prem manager in the mix.
  6. Just in, not seen anything apart from result and a red for Morgan. Can anyone elaborate?
  7. A great night out. I also admit to thinking it would be one of those nights after the pen, then the cross bar, then one just wide of Kelvin's left post as they caught us on the break several times, then Deano putting a great header just wide. However, after Ricky's first goal, I feel we must take an assist for the second. The "Dodgy Keeper" chant was so intense it could have done nothing else but put the young lad off, poor bloke!! It then became a bit of a party on the terrace after Morgan's gem, with at least as much attention being paid to the other scores as the events on the pitch. Even most of the Gas fans waived and clapped as they left early to calls of "Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio" (apart from one sad fat loser who gave us the bird!). A quality performance, even though (in my opinion) I feel Seabourne and Semi are not really the right players for us.
  8. We parked in Bedford Place on Sat having come up from the south west although there were roadworks it was fine. It only took us about 5 mins to get out and on our way!
  9. Yet again trying to break my jinx on results!! Travelling up with a mate and his lad that are both Leeds fans, but they couldn't get tickets with their lot as they'd sold out, so they're sitting with us.
  10. Yes, I'd love to make the play offs and go up this season, but then next year would be another one looking to consolidate, quite a few losses and I would imagine a mid table finish. However, if we stayed in L1 we should expect a carnival season, with high expectations of winning most games. OK, it's not ideal, but think of how you feel at the moment, and imagine feeling like that for an entire season? It wouldn't be the end of the world!!
  11. But Millwall also have a game in hand, which if they win makes it 11 points away
  12. Should it be 01271, the area code for Barnstaple, N Devon? I believe that's where the ticket call centre is situated!
  13. Sorry, still don't get it?
  14. Pay on the gate at the home end, plenty of room. It's not as if it's Millwall!!
  15. We're just 45 mins away and can't wait. I'm really hoping to break my jinx!! Still, we shouldn't take the result for granted, as Exeter looked really handy against Leeds and MK Dons recently.
  16. I thought they looked pretty handy in the highlights I saw after the games with Leeds and MKD!
  17. I'm going with a mate from Exeter, so I'll be in the Fly-Be stand with the locals!!
  18. I must admit, I've a soft spot for the Admiral kit around 76/77. It was the first one that I bought!
  19. Just a ploy to stop us bleating on about things on here.........then surprise us all on Monday afternoon!!
  20. My lad went to school with him in Devon. Wolves signed him from Exeter as a full back. He's young, strong and got talent, but a bit too soon for the Prem. A Saints fan too!!
  21. Speaks for itself!!!
  22. I'm sure there'll be a lot of teams looking over their shoulders for us!!
  23. Think it's 9 at the moment, and would expect it closer by the New Year!
  24. Any Prem, with Skates away to Leeds!!
