I would think a clown may have strong connetctions to the club... they seem to employ a lot of them.

But he must be losing the dressing room soon... some of the things he is saying now... That is my only hope. Once he does that, he will lose his job. I don't think you can lose as many games and then bounce back next year. Something breaks...

Have some sympathy with the man... No other manager has had to continously make interviews and pressers over such a long and poor period. To come up with shit to say, every week after the same horrible mistakes and toothless displays, must take its toll. He is very brave. Out of his league, out of depht, out of ideas - he takes a beating every week and has to talk about it...

I don't get the anger against Stephens. He allways puts the club first. After finally understanding how hopeless our plight is with Martin in charge, he took one for the team, pulled some lovely curls to help nudge Martin out the door 😉

Hope we can get rid of both, and utilise the two loan slots. Tempting to bring Charles back, but probably better for him to stay at Weds. I'll have a go here and claim that I am in my right mind 😉 I actually think Martin wants better tempo and quicker transition, but the problem is a combination of the players we have not being good enough and fit enough, and Martin not being up to the task to coach it in to them at this level. So my answer is yes, I think Martin wants to do that, but no, I don't think he will be able to achieve it.

I agree, that is our current trajectory, but Martin will be gone by then. If he keeps on losing games, he will end up losing the players/dressing room, and shortly after, his job.

Someone else can step up. He is the one constant in a defence that has been leaking goals for 5 or 6 years now.
