and I am not talking about the football club but the city in general. I dont normally get time to go to the city centre as work outside Southampton and football/family take up the weekends. However, I have been on a course in the centre this week for three days and thought I would take advantage and have a look round the shops. The Bargate Centre and the Marlands centre are very depressing with hardly any shops in them and what there is in there are either closing down or poorly stocked. West Quay also has a few empty spaces and dont get me started on the high street as that is really depressing with empty shops and cheap outlets /christmas shops spouting. I know the whole country is in recession but surely not every city centre is like this does it.

just wondering, when RL was in charge before we used to have them once a quarter with representatives from each supporter groups.

He must have an away season ticket now, he even took time out at Donny to come and meet some of the travelling away fans in the pub.

I am going to get crucified for this but last season I was feeling so ill I didnt get to the curry pub so went to the Shopping Mall next to the ground instead and would thoroughly recommend it for shopping. :-)

Why dont the club give all ST holders another ticket for the game againts Watford or Coventry to give to a family member or friend and fill up the ground starting with the Chapel end. Understand some ST's holders will be upset giving away a free ticket but if it meant that a few of them came back and purchased tickets for another match it may be worth it. Would be good to see the Chapel full as well.

I agree with that but as they count all the season ticket holders whether they turn up or not then I presume the 14400 figure is realistic.

The last quarter of the match was great to watch never seen as shoot as often as that for a long time and it made for a great game. Rather see us shoot and be off target than not to shoot at all. You could see the confidence growing in the young team with every pass made. More of the same Saturday please.

As a few have pointed out 0-2 away from home and 3 points was what was needed. Didnt particlarly like the way we played but the 3 points were important to us. Donny didnt offer anything but IMO had the best player on the pitch their number 23. Well impressed with Doncaster and the stadium maybe it helped that the sun was shining but what I saw of it I liked.

it may be a better option for me than travelling to Donny then.

Oscar Gobern impressed pre season is he ready to step up yet, where's Navyred when you need him.

Not a bad thing IMO he doesnt want to be here and hasnt really showed any form of late, rather see an academy player be given a chance.

I dont think the low attendance is totally down to Lowe, Ok I will say a few are not going because of him and feel that is very small minded of them but it is their choice. You support your team through the good and bad times but I have to say that I have had to cut back this season due to financial reasons and cant afford the time or cost to travel midweek anymore to away games.

I mentioned on another thread that I thought very lads looked tired and weary on Saturday and certainly it told during the game. 4 games in 10 days is a lot to ask of a squad so young, I know they should be able to play this amount of games but surely it must take its toll and we dont have a large enough fit squad to rest some of them.

I think our young players looked really tired on Saturday and was hoping that he would have rested a few last night, but we just havent got a big enough squad to be able to do this. Arsenal's young guns didnt have to play 4 games in 10 days.

Well if he didnt go last night or witnessed it on Saturday he should take the blame for us not giving a good display. Maybe the lads play better when they know he is watching :-)

Didnt anyone hear James being interviewed on Radio Hampshire last night, I felt sorry for the poor lad he really didnt know what to say and became a bit tongue tied at times.
