I objected to the blindfolds they had on for the first 45.

Yes of course I am not not supporting the chairman, directors, manager etc., I am supporting the team and as long as there is a team there to support I will renew.
-
Took 5 hours to get there, 3-0 down at half time and then the team turned up. Why oh why cant we play 90 minutes, how is it we play the first half like we played against Palace and the second half as we played against Reading, if someone can just explain that to me I might begin to understand this team. Just leaving for the game and feel like that guy on the news who was stood their on camera in the poiuring rain saying he was ****ed off, sick, missing his missus etc., please lads put on a good display today and make it worth the trip in this torrential rain.

This doesnt bode very well "we havent lost at Turf Moor since 1976". Think I have more chance guessing how many away supporters we are taking rather than the result of this one.

Saga reckons he will be back for the game against Man U http://www.goal.com/en/news/1710/manchester-united/2008/12/12/1008636/rooneys-nothing-

I have seen the best and the worst football this season and really dont know how we can play exceptionally well against the likes of Reading, Derby and Birmingham and then play exceptionally badly against Swansea and Palace to name a few.
-
I cant understand why we are starting with Robertson as he is a loan player who will most probably be returning in January so to me it makes sense to bed Paterson in now as he is our player and is unlikely to be going anywhere unless he starts scoring bucket loads.
-
Do you think its a mistake they have forgotten to put his name in as have 3 goalies in the squad.
-
Its great to have options at the moment especially with two games in three days.

am I the only one not excited about playing the Mancs more excited about getting the 3 points from Wednesday tomorrow. Any ideas of what formation or team he is going to play, and Jan just a reminder you promised us 3 points.

Can he take a decent corner?
-
Sounds exciting and the sort of player we need. I really do like watching these youngsters play and seems he could fit in well if the rumour is true.

I am in block 42 and not sure where to sit for this match most probablyend up in the corner of the Northam/Itchen but that brings back bad memories for me when they sent us down.

A win at SMS and then be drawn at home to Arsenal
-
I really pleased to hear he is OK, one of the nicest and most generous persons I have met.

Those who refuse to go whilst Lowe's in charge...
ladysaint replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Does it really matter, we need all the fans and money we can get at the moment and if this brings them back then all well and good. -
I would agree with this, he looks hungry for his first goal and could be just what we want up front, although inexperienced he has looked good when he has come on and looks the best option at present.
-
Not sure where to relocate to from the Northam if they take block 42, have bad memories in the Northam/Itchen corner when they sent us down so dont really want to go back there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the match at Charlton yesterday, thought the lads gave their all and were unlucky not to have come away with the three points, if only we could finish. I dont think you can ask much more of the team than to give 100% and thats what they all did yesterday. Here are some photos from Charlton and the evening at the London Saints do, no doubt some may say more propoganda from the club but it is a long running and successful event arranged by Mick Strickland and the London Saints group, just hope Jan doesnt think I am stalking him :-) http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=50666&l=fd1e0&id=726098588

Anybody read it yet. I went to the afternoon session of the book launch on Sunday at SMS and must admit TP looks as good as ever, I am sure he would still fit into his number 7 shirt. It was an interesting and informative afternoon and I never realised that he was being pruned as our new manager after Ted, how history might have changed if this had happened. I hear he is doing another book signing on Monday 1st December at Waterstone's, Above Bar, Southampton at 6 pm, the book is well worth getting and there are some excellent photographs in it.

Sorry St Marco I disagree, I would doubt if RL would even know he was there, and Jan did say that he was not told where to go by anyone it was his own choice to meet with the fans and sure all those that were in attendance would agree with that. Dont lets dampen our spirits we have a game and three points to look forward to tomorrow. Regardless of what anyone says the team has played exceptionally well the majority of this season, were are not getting the results at home I agree but we have still played good football.

Apologies of course you are right, I meant experience at Championship Football as a coach with Stoke, I should do my research better.
