I think we will get someone but its not going to be easy and think that we may well be in this position again in a few seasons time.

What happens then if they get fined a couple of weeks wages they have to go without pay then regardless of their mortgages. If I were the club I would have fined the lot of them one weeks wages for their disgraceful performance at Sheffield Wednesday when they all knew that it was a winnable game.

My understanding was that a coach load of young Saints fans were due to collect their tickets from the ticket office at Forest but none had been left for them so the police wouldnt let them off the coach without tickets. One lad got off as his grandmother had brought him a spare ticket so he got in to the match.

that news about any takeover/investors is now due or even a cut off date. I remember reading Mark Fry saying that he was hopeful that he would have some definitive news for us before we played our last game at Forest, but that didnt happen and it all seems to have gone very quiet.

It was good to see that Forest had the common sense to protect both their goal posts and netting after the final whistle, no pitch invasion though thankfully.

After a really depressing season this made me proud to be a Saint supporter today, our support was outstanding you had to be there to feel it. A great day and hopefully we will be visiting Forest again in the not too distant future.

I would rather it was replaced with a photo of Ted Bates with the 1976 FA Cup winning team.

I was in love with Jim McCalliog at that time, I wonder what he looks like now.

Maybe we should all go to Forest reminiscing of the 1976 cup final one of our greatest moments. The memories of the day the trip up there, the trip home with everyone on the motorway bridges are all coming flooding back and have cheered me up no end. Thank you Pancake.
