Anyone confirm that the 22 programme sellers were told as they werent selling programmes tonight they had to pay tonights prices to see the match, none of them did though.

John Gorman was in the directors box, but presume he was there in his MK Dons capacity.
-
To be fair Guly was played out of a position and looked a bit awkward, I thought he was a central midfielder.

Hate those bloody white shirts, we havent played well wearing them yet, this anniversary year will certainly be one to be remembered plus the pitch this season is awful as well.

As there were no programmes tonight, I have been told that the programme sellers were told that if they wanted to see the game tonight they had to pay tonights prices, suffice to say 22 of them refused to pay it.

I use the high pitch electronic sensor such as "Ca****ch" seems to work in our garden and used to have loads of cat using it as a public convenience but not any more. You can find a solar one available on the internet as well.

I hate the new shirt it has brought us nothing but bad luck.

Must have a steel armoured back for the knives.

Thanks for this update obviously didnt know much about what happened as just approaching the crossing when it occured. Glad the lad is going to be ok and the people who were in the car that hit him were not at fault.
-
You are right that part of the road wasnt closed but the traffic was held up by the first set of lights until the majority of pedestrians had crossed the road. Now as you say the traffic just goes sailing past. As I said I really dont know if the accident occured due to the road being opened after the games and the traffic allowed to flow freely or even what exactly happened, I just heard a loud thud and presumed it was a car going back into the other but unfortunately it was a lot more serious than this.

Unfortunately there was an accident on Northam Road after the match yesterday at the pedestrian crossing just past the garage a young boy was hit by a car. Now whether this has any relevance to Northam Road not being closed after the match I cant say but it seems two league games into the season when the road is not now closed this has happened and a lot of the local residents were upset with the road not being closed. Hope the young lad is ok, looked in a bad way and was treated by paramedics for sometime.

Sorry for another thread on the subject, but does anyone know if there are any memorial pin badges. As a collector of pin badges I would like to know if there are any available. Thanks

Tribute Contributions - What Happens To That Stuff?
ladysaint replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
It would be nice to have a museum or something similiar where some of the items could be displayed for all generations to see. -
I called a close friend of mine when I heard about Markus, I was in floods of tears and he really didnt understand why I was crying, he wasnt my partner, my Dad, a member of my family and I had never met the big man but he was a part of my family, my football family and someone I greatly respected for what he had done for the club and more importantly the way he conducted himself, he seemed very ordinary, very approachable and always smiling. I will always hold the image of him with his mobile phone or camera (not sure what it was) at Wembley taking photos of the team who were standing in front of him. I still cant hold back the tears, just reading the dedications on the OS sets me off again, think I will taking a black bin bag full of tissues with me next Saturday.
-
I thought he had a son as well, sure someone who was in Switzerland on preseason tour brought Markus a beer and he said he didnt drink so gave it to his son not that I am advocating that a woman shouldnt own a football club far from it.

The tributes are certainly growing, I hope SFC collect up all the floral tributes and place them in buckets of water to prolong the life of them it will look so much nicer as well.
-
So sad to hear of the passing of a great person, you were only part of us for a short time but will live long in the memories of all Saints fan. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP x

They have now moved the flowers and tributes closer to the doors so that they are under cover as it just started to rain slightly.

Anyone know if the players have to pay to park, I have heard that they have to pay a set fee per season but cannot substantiate this.
