The derby match and important that we play our best team for this one, so would like to see Fonte and Martin in at the back, not sure I would risk Lallana from the start but guess he will be up for this one.

I am back now as well, much improved second half, thought Morgan and KD had good games, still a little worried about RL though, but am so pleased we actually scored. Fans did us proud today and the relief the players showed at the final whistle said it all.

Maybe they should get fans instead to do the rallying calls on the OS to the players sure it would be much more effective.

coming through the club. I dont get to see hardley any reserve matches now but just wondering if there is a potential leader or a prolific goalscorer waiting in the wings. Our academy used to be one most other clubs admired but it seems that has lost it way too.

I was wondering if there was a rift between the players as well, dont know why but they dont seem to like each other much lately.

Can we bring CMFG out of retirement we are screaming out for a player like him to lead the rest of them. How come we were top scorers last season and now havent scored in 4.

I cant even blame the white shirts tonight for that performance, we cant just do the basic things like take a decent corner, still trying to walk it in, Morgan had a 2 or 3 shots from range on target but other than that cant really say much about the game at all. Connolly obviously cant do the 90 so was subbed by Mills and Holmes came on in the last minute of the game, we dont seem to have anyone on the bench who can turn the game around. Very very disappointed.

He travelled with the rest of the squad tonight, surprised to see him really but looked good think he could have done ok out there tonight even with his limp.

Val was a lovely lady, once you met her you would never forget her, always had this big beaming smile on her face and never moaned or complained. I was privileged enough to sit next to her at SMS and will never forget her, RIP Val you are the biggest Saint in heaven.

Talking about Newcastle what happened to another of our ex players Nile Ranger, thought he was going to become a regular in the Newcastle team last season.

TBH he might as well had not been on the pitch yesterday, not sure if he is still carrying an injury, and doesnt seem hungry for the ball anymore, is hardly winning any headers.

why didnt we play in our away shirt yesterday, especially as they play in red and white. These white shirts are jinxed.

Really think Lambert should be dropped for the next game, but then we have no one to put in his place, need a manager desperately and some loan signings in to provide cover up front.

What I cant understand is when Hoddle did exactly the same to us we were all up in arms now when the boot is on the other foot its different, make your minds up.

I admire Adkins for his loyalty and wanting to go and say his farewell to his players and staff, if the statement above is true. I wouldnt walk out on a job I like with people I like without saying goodbye. There is little loyalty left in the game now so respect Adkins for showing some.

The sash looks like a womans beauty queen sash which makes me hate it even more.

We have not played well in them shirts at all, only won one game i.e. Bournemouth, so they are jinxed and IMO look awful.

I would burn the lot of them.
