I was surprised when you said that you were going to be refunded by the travel club, we wont get a refund on our minibus and dont expect to as others have said it wasnt anyone's else fault except D'urso who should reimburse us our travellling expenses. Lets all send our travel receipts to him and ask for compensation, wouldnt hold out any luck though.

Thanks for the advice and think I am now convinced to go with a laptop instead, I was wondering about the speed etc., of them and like most woman I dont have much patience.

Is that right with the travel club you get it all back in that case I am sending Mr Durso my bill for a wasted boxing day in total 8 hours waiting and travelling to get to a game that was called off with an hours notice.

Sorry but I am not sure what the difference is between a netbook and a notebook but my laptop screen wont come on and the laptop has been on its way out for about 6 months now. I thought I would replace it with a netbook or notebook as I really only use it for the internet and the occasional game. Anyone have any recommendations please really dont want to spend more that £300-£350.

I think he said that he is a quiet and very likeable guy and he was surprised that he was involved, a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and was in no way any trouble at the club.

It wouldnt surprise me many of the staff from SMS went to the Rosebowl to work.

I had a lot of dealings with David over the years he was here, he nearly left once before to go to Wembley in some capacity in the ticket office. I really wish him the best of luck in the future and hope he found another position somewhere. He was always the gentleman and very helpful, I really believe we will miss him lots, he always took the trouble to answer emails from fans even if the answer wasnt what they were hoping for. Not sure if Spudgun has mentioned this but the new strip for next season is being finalised, all he would say is that it has style, will be red and white but wouldnt exactly say if it was stripes or not.

After having met NC last night it wouldnt surprise me if we have our own brewery and sale our own beers.

A couple of other things I remember asked about having some sort of tribute to Markus at the stadium a plaque or something similar and think they are thinking along these lines anyway. He will reconsider half season tickets, suggested that maybe he offer two half season tickets i.e. first half and second half of the season and also will look at st holders being prioritised for purchasing their own seats for cup games before going on general sale. As spud gun said he came across as very sincere and you do get the impression that he will see the job through and achieve the goals set, we all need to support him in anyway we can. He also added that the Sun did call him and apologised for their misinterpretation which apparently stemmed from negotations with sponsors for next season and offered a printed apology in the paper which NC declined.

The original SF forum started by Keith was great but since then this one in particular has gone down hill a lot. A lot of forum infighting and not just difference of opinions,you cant even spell something wrong or without someone having a go at you. This forum is lot more regulated than it used to be and a lot of people banned or original members now have just got fed up with the idiots on here and dont bother posting anymore. I do understand that it has to be regulated to some degree. I used the original forum a lot but now hardly use this one, its just not fun anymore.

Will make a decision on Friday morning whether or not we pick up the 2 x 9 seaters Friday evening we are hiring as once we have picked them up will be liable for payment. Its not going to be a cheap trip so hope by Friday we will either be told officially the game will be off or we will make the decision ourselves whether to travel or not. They called the game of against Yeovil yesterday at 1.30 so have a lot of sympathy for the Yeovil fans that did travel.
