There's no place for filth or racist scum on B-anter; just funny guys and gals. You need not apply.

It's back. URL by invite / accepted request only. Usual Suspects only need apply.

If someone sent you a couple of bits of cardboard cut into insole shapes that you could combine with the masking tape for a more professional repair job, would you be happier then?

Will the O2 tickets be valid for his comeback tour - after they've melted him down and recycled him? -
That's Windoze for you :-)

Lol @ my WSS 'ASS' typo and my * s n i g g e r s * being filtered.

ASS - Yes, each iPod/iPhone will only sync with one iTunes library at a time. This would, indeed, stop the content being copied to various machines; but if you allow the iPod to be used as a HDD, then you can copy any files, documents or yourentire iTunes Music folder and rewrite it to any machine (Mac to Mac, or Windows to Windows only though; depending on how the iPod is formatted). Delldays - it is iPhone, not Iphone; 3GS, not 3gS; and iTunes, not Itunes. You are an iPhone owner now, so you must spell the products correctly and sneer at those who spell them wrong. Fortunately, your iPhone will auto-correct them for you until you get the hang of it. Baj - *s*******

TOTALLY wrong. This is the sort of reason that some other ill-informed people end up with an opinion of how 'rubbish' iTunes is. I have four iPods/iPhones synched with one of my libraries. : r o l l : Delldays - is it not synching ANY songs whatsoever? Or is it just some songs? If it's just some songs, the device will need authorising to play them if they're iTunes purchased songs. Easy to do. If it's all songs that are not synching, then it's most likely that you aren't running the latest iTunes software (v8.2) which is needed for iPhone OS 3.0. Try that first, but let me know if you still have problems.

I had pulled a sickie from school that day and was in my bedroom. I didn't believe my dad when he shouted the news up the stairs but, when it eventually sank in, I was jumping up and down on my bed with joy. Needless to say: my unsickliness was rumbled and I was back to school the next day!

Even with having to re-hit the UPDATE button a few dozen times (at the same time as MILLIONS of people around the World, so understandable) the two iPhones I updated took around 25-30 mins from start to finish. If you want to use a different Sim and therefore have to tinker around with manual settings and wait for text confirmations etc Ponty, then that's your choice; but I don't see how you can blame Apple for that one!

If anyone wants to set up a new forum and run it the way the old b-anter forum and the SaintsFun forum before it were run (i.e. No charges/subscriptions to use it and largely uncensored and ignoring the politically correct or easily offended brigades) then I will gladly point the currently unused URL to it. Then, when the URL is due for renewal, it can be transferred to the new forum owner.

Nothing wrong with the Mac Mini. I have one of these as well - hooked up to the LCD TV in our lounge and acting as our media hub. With the wireless keyboard and mouse it has the added bonus of internet through the tv for iPlayer, ITV Catchup, 4OD etc. However you use yours, you'll love it compared to any Windoze box. Good decision.

How about the backroom staff, the admin personnel, the cleaners and the like, who have been told "not to expect to get paid on Thursday, but if they do then it's 'a bonus'?"
-
Haha, I love it that you're already writing 'windoze'

Aluminium MacBook I hope Install Flip4Mac and Perian Oh, and don't forget not to bother installing needless Antivurus and Firewall software PS. You may as well throw all of your Windoze stuff in the bin now - you'll never want to use them ever again.
-
Definitely the latter.

They might be talking about Flash Cookies which don't get deleted from the Safari/other browser 'clear cookies'. Here's a good page which explains a bit about it and checks your system for Flash cookies, then allows you to delete them / history and change settings if required. http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

As fancy as the turning pages and swish-swoosh sound may be, that's a blimmin' 'orrible website to have to negotiate and read.

You'll be pleased to know that the old Woolworths building in Shirley is about to reopen as a 99p Store. However, I would argue that Bitterne Precinct rivals Shirley High Street for fats, mongs and wheelchairs

If we do cease to be, would you back a fan founded club formed in it's wake?
Essruu replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Yes. An FCUM type offshoot would be a great option if either SFC folds or RL comes back as part of one of the buyouts. -
Annoying people on Facebook mainly.

It's not entirely about the money; although I did get fed up keep shelling out for domain and hosting renewals. I just got bored running it in the end (even though no real 'running' took place!) and can't be arsed to start it up again.
