  1. Some of the original kits were left to right, some were right to left. I guess this version had to this way round, so that the Umbro logo in plain white could sit on the sash instead of the badge which would look messy. I like it. Especially as it has no sponsor. This could be the first shirt I've bought for 15+ years. Thumbs up from me.
  2. Fanbois, the lot of you. I'm waiting for the new Tocco to come out.
  3. HD movie capture using iMovie on top of everything else and iOS 4... This is one kick-all-asses device for sure. Stick that up your HTC & Android bumholes. You won't be able to 'upgrade' your O2 contract or have bolt-ons to regular contracts. All iPhone contracts are specific to the iPhone.
  4. I'm hoping that Steve Jobs will be modelling it when he unveils the 4th Gen iPhone at WWDC in a few hours.
  5. sarcasm |ˈsärˌkazəm| noun the use of irony to mock or convey contempt : his voice, hardened by sarcasm, could not hide his resentment. See note at wit . ORIGIN mid 16th cent.: from French sarcasme, or via late Latin from late Greek sarkasmos, from Greek sarkazein ‘tear flesh,’ in late Greek ‘gnash the teeth, speak bitterly’ (from sarx, sark- ‘flesh’ ).
  6. Anything that stops our idiotic supporters singing "Red Army" or "Alan Pardew's Red Army" is fine by me. If anyone asked you what colour Saints played in, you wouldn't say 'Red', You'd say 'Red & White': so why people think it's ok to sing Red Army, as if we were United or Liverpool, is beyond me. There's probably more white in our current kit than red, but yet they don't sing 'White Army'. Idiots. Sash Army.
  7. You could just dump it, buy a Mac and never have to worry about this sort of junk, viruses etc ever again.
  8. A hundred or so I read somewhere. Not many, but this probably cost the club £30k+ and has helped to ruin things for everyone else who wants to pay in instalments. The club needn't lose matchday supporters - if people were keen enough to buy a season ticket and attend every match, why won't they be keen enough to pay on a match by match basis but still attend every match? Yes, some might not bother with occasional midweek winter matches, but then people have choices to make and are then free to make those choices. There were plenty of games under Burley, for instance, that I really didn't enjoy, couldn't get enthused about and really didn't want to be at SMS for, but felt like I HAD to because of the season ticket. A few I might not have bothered with if I hadn't had the season ticket. If the team continues playing good attacking football and winning games, then people are going to be enticed back on a match by match basis and crowds will rise. You can argue ifs and buts all day long, but at least the club won't be responsible for putting people into debt. Only my first paragraph was vaguely in reply to your post. If you're happy to pay the new price to stay in a Centre Stand, then fine. Those that don't want to pay that much (I wasn't particularly aiming this at you) can pay much less in the Chapel Stand. The club are clearly trying to entice families to the Family Stand by offering such great deals there; Thus allowing them to maximise the income from the Centre Stands. The rest of my post was about people moaning about the credit issue generally and was not in reply to your comment.
  9. If you can afford it - pay it. If you want to pay less - pay £328 by moving to the Chapel Stand. This would then free up more seats for adults who want/can afford to pay top prices for the Centre Stands, thus maximising income to the club and allowing the business to invest. I can't believe so many people are moaning about there being no instalment plan offered by the club for season tickets. They've clearly been ripped off by people defaulting in the past and continuing to use the season tickets in their possession. Yes, they could factor it out to a credit company and let them worry about chasing defaulters; but there's a moral issue with doing this when they know from experience that some scumbags will default and carry on using the ST. Markus seems a very moral man. Maybe he/NC don't want to pass these scumbags on to credit providers? Maybe, bearing in mind how Markus runs his companies debt-free, they are saving those of low income from themselves by not letting them incur debt for one of his company's services? The bottom line is - if you have got the money to pay up front for a season ticket, then buy one and make the match by match saving. If you can't afford to pay up front, then WHY should you be provided with a vehicle for debt by the club? If you want to make your own credit arrangements with your bank, credit card company or other credit provider, then that's your decision; But in no way should the club be responsible for you wanting to spend money that you don't have. Those who can't afford to stump up in full for a season ticket aren't being stopped from going to the matches - they just pay on a match by match basis for those games that they CAN afford to go to. If they choose to go to matches instead of putting food on the family table, then that's their stupid fault.

    iPad

If you need to ask that question, then you haven't used an iPad.

    iPad

Yes you could, but for most people this would mean an additional monthly payment.

    iPad

WiFi iPad and Jalbroken iPhone with MyWi App = 3G iPad. Amazing piece of kit, which would be perfect for what the majority of users use the internet for. ie. Web, Mail, Contacts, Calendar, (The best program for) Photos, Music, Apps, Gaming etc. If you want to use progs like Photoshop, Dreamweaver or specific high end stuff, then this isn't the device for you; But for the majority of users, the iPad does what it does brilliantly (and better then any Netbook or PC) and will blow your mind. The touch control is far better than using a mouse (or Netbook touchpad!!). I was unsure when it was first announce, but once you use it, you reralise that this is how the internet should be used. All of those slating it, CLEARLY have not used one. Even a 10min play on your own in the Apple store may not convince everyone... but a 10min demonstration by someone who will show you all that it can do will change your mind.
  13. Apple shackles.
  14. You don't lose Visual Voicemail!!
  15. Considering that nobody expected anyone to spend much time with trying to jb 3.1.3 because 4.0 is coming, it's a bonus to have 3.1.3 jailbroken at all. Besides, mine is factory unlocked anyway
  16. spiritjb.com Now works with 3.1.3 and works like a dream in about 10secs. Simplest jb EVER.
  17. Yes; Every night when I come home, my MacBook, MacMini and my iPhone all line up to thank me.
  18. Made me lol.
  19. I said 'virtually every other support and helpdesk workers'. Every company needs support/ customer services depts. The point is: All the time that Windows has such a large market share, the more support personnel companies are going to have to employ to deal with all of the cr@p that comes with it - crashes, conflicts, viruses, trojans and the like; All of that on top of the normal support you'd expect from any company. saint_stevo has Windows to thank for him not working in McDonalds.
  20. No; Because it's sh1t and insecure. If most of the world switched to Mac or Linux systems, you and virtually every other support and helpdesk workers would become redundant overnight.
  21. You only have a job in support because of Windows.
  22. You know the reason for that is NOT market share. If it were, why would scammers already be targetting new iPad owners when only around 1 million have been sold? http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/04/26/ipad_backdoor/ There are millions more Mac / Linux users in the world than there are iPad owners. This proves that it's nothing to do with market share - they're targetting the small market that is currently Windows PC and iPad owners BECAUSE WINDOWS IS INHERENTLY INSECURE. 'Frankly, who'd bother trying to write something for a secure operating system' is, I assume, what you mean.
  23. LOL@ Antivirus Software.
  24. Yes, Harding would've tackled him before he got the pass in.
  25. He felt his hamstring twinge after 25mins in the Hartlepool game and was taken off at half time as a precaution. He received treatment Wednesday and Thursday and said after Thursday that he felt good and was confident that he'd be ok to play on Sunday. However, on Friday after treatment/training, he was limping fairly badly and it didn't look good. He was to have further treatment and a fitness test on Sunday morning, but failed it. Whilst the other players had a day off today, he was back in for treatment. He enjoyed the whole Wembley experience but was absolutely gutted not to have been fit to play. He was, however, ok to join the post-match party at Dock Gate 4 last night, and a few of the players looked a bit rough today!!
