TBF It was starting to look a bit manky before it went on the pitch. -
Living that close to Barnet you should join Colslaw (Committee of loyal Saints living around Watford)
-
A few from Colslaw will be going to this as local game for us.
-
For the uneducated TOSSA = The Oxford Saints Supporters Association Colslaw = Committee of Loyal Saints living around Watford. Anyone interested in joining get in touch with myself or Hemel Saint.

Still have mine - grows in a tub on my patio so I can move it with me whenever I move house.

This was the main reason why the regional supporters groups kept away from SISA and the Saints Trust. We are not political we just support Saints and help fans in our area. We did not want to be associated with people who had clear political agendas and who wanted to represent us. Their views may or may not have been representative of our own but we always felt quite capable of representing ourselves and didnt need SISA or the Trust to do it for us.

I think the Saints Trust is just a vehicle for certain individuals to try and build their own profile. Some like Steve Grant are genuine fans other peoples motives are highly questionable. The Trust tried to persuade regional supporters groups to be represented by them. Presumably to make them the only voice of the fans. Unsurprisingly most groups said no. Saints Trust were associated with Saints Aid. No one has ever accounted for what happened to the money. At best in ended up in pockets of Barclays and Aviva it didnt really save the club. The sale of Surman, Dyer, McGoldrick and Marcus saved the club. Unfortunately poor fans gave their hard earned cash away in the mistaken hope they were doing some good. Then we had Silverspoons a complete rip off of extorting money out of genuine Saints fans. Then there is COYR a business selling merchandise in competition to the club. I think it would be best for all if the discredited Saints Trust closed down. The Daily Echo should stop going to NI of the Saints Trust and also to SISA for quotes as they do not represent genuine fans. They only seem to represent themselves and their own pockets.

We should never sign a skate - end of. -
As somebody who watched it happen it was really just handbags and a bit of posturing that has been blown out of all proportion. (Although feel sorry for the people who had their cars damaged). It also could have been avoided completely if it had been policed properly. When I went away from home with Saints in the late 70's/early 80's you saw far worse than that virtually every week. That said these days Magistrates tend to think anyone who goes to football is a thug so expect that they will get heavy penalties relative to other crimes you see on a friday and saturday night. Not condoning violence but fed up with the happy clappers who just jump on these threads making it sound far worse than it was. For me love the atmosphere of a derby match and like SMS to have an intimidating atmosphere for visiting fans.

Colslaw are also doing Friday and Saturday night as a long weekend. We always book a weekend away around March in some grotty northern town.

Went to the evening league cup game last season and managed to park on the streets near the ground without too much difficulty. If you do this would suggest parking up early.

I have managed to get a refund when an away game has been postponed. Watford last year got a refund for one of my mates who couldnt make it. -
I have some if you want to let me have your email address. Have been involved up with a 50,000 sq feet warehouse.
-
To be fair not many away fans who find the Prince of Wales fans stay very long - I seem to recall 20 Man Utd fans needed to leave in a hurry last season.
-
I stand next to your mate.
-
I know who you are now as well. You stand 2 seats to the left of me.

I was thinking about which ground made the most noise and you reminded me of that game. Their support was amazing that day. If they got a freekick in their own half they celebrated as if they had scored. We only took about 200 fans up there so were completely drowned out. Great away day as we shocked them by scoring after about 6 mins and went on to win. The other ground which is interesting is Ibrox. If they are playing well they make loads of noise but really disappointing support when they go behind. Fair weather fans imo.

We got home to Herts at a similar pace and also had a curry. If my driver had gone slowly we too would have either had to gone hungry or used a service station. Well worth keeping your foot down, using a bit of extra fuel and rounding off an away day with a traditional curry. I am not revealing my driver that day but those of you who know who I am will be able to work it out for themselves.. -

I saw him pre season at Cheltenham. Pretty poor player and will never play for the first team in a competitve game. I think Pardew will have a close look at our squad this season and have a big clear out next summer. I think Pulis and co will be looking for a new club.
