Long story which I won't bore you with, but the surrounding land you drove up towards the stadium today will be built on with 1,500 houses, a retail park and other residential facilities (doctors, schools etc). Because we got into the Championship in 2006, the stadium was fast-tracked ahead of the rest of the building. The junction to the A12 will be built next year and the rest of the area will also be built up. The car park is another matter, but it is rumoured it will be tarmaced next summer.

Another Colchester fan here. The exchange of "Where are ya, where are ya?" and "We can't see you sneaking out" was amongst my favourite moments of this season. Fair play to your support. Plenty of noise!

Hi, Colchester fan here. When I got my ticket last week, they said you'd sold 1,500 out of the 1,900 odd you've got. Don't know how many you might have sold yesterday though.
