2-0 loss against Arsenal, not to bad really. As much as I screamed at Boruc through the computer when he tried the solo... God, looking back at the video, its hilarious! Makes me like him even more, really, always good entertainment watching him play! (wish that I could laugh at another team's goalie for something similar though instead of our own...) In some ways it's a good feeling being annoyed we gifted them two goals instead of being completely overrun and playing like nervous schoolboys in the same feature last season.

'Real life' football is not like football manager... a lot has changed at the club over the summer so it understandably takes a few days for AP to assess things. Let's hope there are no signings for signings sake before the window shuts. We need players, true, but we don't need any more St'Juste signings to show 'intent' we need players that can do the job, hopefully for more than half a season! First let the poor guy pick up backroom staff to help him in training etc. Then if AP is here really for long term he will have to get himself settled in the area and keep his family happy as well Cautiously optimistic for the season myself...
