Now Guly is starting to be demoted to the bench step up Artur Boruc as the next scapegoat. Honestly to me didn't do too much wrong with the goals, Clyne on the other hand nowhere near the first and had a fair few metres head start over dempsey for the second but didn't want it as much.

Vast majority of the chapel stand "fans" are pathetic... glad Boruc gave them a bit of stick, and he WILL turn out good and those same stupid fans will be queueing outside the chapel after the game to have their photo taken with him, telling him he's their favourite player and getting him to sign their autograph books.

I agree with your subs although i would have waited another 5 mins for the first two and then gone from there. I thought we were looking dangerous on the break at the time. Fair that looking back in hindsight is easy to be critical but myself and a fair few around me were confused at the time of the subs and i still am tbh. I still think he blew it.

I just don't understand playing Mayuka up top and hoofing balls up at him when he's against Vidic and Ferdinand and having Guly on when were hanging on is stupid. That's usually the type of player you bring off when your hanging on! Out of interest did you think the subs were a good decision?

Ok maybe they were tired but there was only 10 mins left, surely the adrenaline of being 2-1 up against Man Utd would take them through! Have you ever played football?! Not just the fact he took them off its the choices of subs and the positions. When your a smaller team against one of the best, winning in the last few mins it's going to be backs against the wall. What you dont need is a guy who's too short to hold the ball up on his own up front and a guy who doesn't close down, chase the ball, tackle or put in any noticable effort!

Paul Scholes was excellent no doubt, but those subs were ridiculous, i said it when they were made as many around me did, they didn't make logical sense, i still now can't understand what he was thinking!

Don't get me wrong I would hate to see Nige go but those subs were unacceptable. Bring off our best three players and replace them with those three is ridiculous. Even with those three on ffs put jay rod up top for a bit of height to hold the ball up a bit, surely he knew in the last ten we would be hoofing it long but he puts a guy about 5 foot 7 whos been here for two days. Never really stood out to me in games against us, huge amount of money, this year he scored: 21 goals, 5 against Lg2 team, 6 were penalties and only 2 were against top half teams! Also Wickham was 17/18 when he moved to Sunderland so they were paying for 4 years+ of development aswell.

The ****s near me (around EE in block 42) always have a scapegoat to moan at and this season its Guly, it seems they turn up to games just to moan! These vvankers abuse him for any little thing he does wrong, it doesn't help the team. Obviously Nigel likes him and he's much more qualified than any of us to make a judgement.
