It's probably taken from a BBC "library recording" of some sort. These are/were pieces of music usually recorded by anonymous artistes as mood music that can be used in television or radio programmes. Some of these library records are of high value depending upon the type of music and who played/recorded it. I believe they cannot be legally bought and sold as copyright is the property of the BBC but they do change hands on ebay and other such outlets. HTH.

Duncan, have highlighted a simple spelling mistake - it's worst not worse. Only trying to help, you understand. As for the speculation you mention, he was Cortese's signing for sure. I had this snippet of info from someone very close to the action at the time. Hope this helps.

My thoughts entirely. Cannot believe they are still doing it. It could well be a straight fight between us and them for second place as I am also now beginning to accept that BHA actually are a very good side who probably will end up as champions. The 8 point gap is not closing.

I also still have my old pin badge "The Dell Supporters Club" with the old bloke with a stick on it. That was bought from the old Dell club shop c.1967 and still works.

Yep, still got my original wool red and white barred scarf bought in 1967 and still wear it. Being in the Scouts at the time I sewes on the old Southampton badge with the three roses on and it's still there. In the white sections I wrote the names of the players at the time and I can just about make out their names - Davies, Paine, Melia and Martin are still just about legible. It will be with me against Carlisle on Saturday in the Itchen South if anyone would like to pay homage to an old relic. The scarf, I mean...

I knocked a bicyclist off his bike in Hove several years ago. Totally my fault, my head was turned by a rather attractive young lady almost wearing clothes. Have any of you lot ever driven around Brighton in the summer ? Nightmare. Chock full of crumpet I can tell you and they wear less and less each year that passes. I'm amazed my car is still in one piece frankly. Anyway, said bicyclist was OK but his back wheel was a bit bent so I did the decent thing and offered to pay for a new wheel. Which was OK with him, except after a while he turned into a complete and utter k()nt about the whole thing. At which point I told him he could whistle for it and referred it to my insurers. Never heard another thing about it.

Mack, did someone else write this for you ? It's far from your usual standard and almost literate... But if it was you, I always suspected you were more intelligent than you previously let on..

He needs to find his boots with the longer studs to stop all that falling over he did every time he got the ball on Saturday...!! -
Transfer deadline day thread!

Not quite true - Bompey, P'boro, Sheff Wed & Charlton have all made signings although most are unkown to me so don't know their quality. -
My advice ? Get a girlfriend....

University Graduates and Unemployment
Jimmy Gabriel's Halo replied to Window Cleaner's topic in The Lounge
No disrespect to you my friend but Chichester is NOT a University. It was always back in the day and will be, Chichester College of FE if I remember rightly. And this encapsulates the problem - too many third rate colleges suddenly becoming "Universities" just to make that last descredited so called government we had look good in terms of "University graduates". I went to Sheffield Polytechnic in the 1970's and am proud of it. Of course, that's now Hallam "University" as opposed to the proper Sheffield University. A proper University is Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews, Sussex, Warwick, East Anglia etc etc where research of some kind is undertaken. As for your choice of degree, anything with "media" in the title is a complete waste of time and in a way I feel a sorry for your generation because you've been conned and lied to for political purposes. Nevertheless, having said all of this, I do wish you luck in your career path whatever it may be. -
Either that (the timeshare) or it was some nasty burgulars luring you out and then turning over your drum whilst knowing you are out. Be careful out there..!!

Adkins just said JP's head "hasn't been right since Thursday". Question is, which Thursday ? He didn't specify unfortunately...

I would say ANYONE who has left us and is still playing Premiership football and being paid megabucks to do so, was underrated by us.

Just corrected that for you..

Saints 0 - 0 County Post Match Reaction
Jimmy Gabriel's Halo replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
County came to do a job on us and succeeded very well. Talking with some of their supporters after the game they were definately relieved to get the point Ince clearly came for and were not at all disappointed not to have won despite a couple of very near misses at the death. And don't forget Lee Hughes wasn't playing yesterday - 34 goals in 48 games for them speaks for itself. If he had been playing, we might very well have lost that game. -
Unfortunately the bleeped out word after Barsteward was probably c()nt so the bleep was in the correct place after all...

Saints vs Manchester Utd - 4th Round FA Cup Draw
Jimmy Gabriel's Halo replied to saint_bert's topic in The Saints
Do you know what, and I concede I may well be in a minority of one here, but I'd rather be watching the league game against Charlton that week-end. Far more important for our long term future.
