yeah i remember him it was Neil Bartlett i'm sure. What about Duncan Spedding, Steve Basham, Mark Paul circa 1997/98 and more recently:-Jamie Hatch, Cedric Besaya and Jamie White?

Seriously that was 2-3 years ago, and he played almost every game that year, and captained us sometimes in the Stern John/Pearson year...going to Wembley are you??:smt009

Not one to speculate usually, but anyone feel he may have been "tapped up" by Crystal Palace?, and Cortese has said a big no to him speaking to them?

Would take back Nile Ranger, Chris Baird, Brian Howard, Matt Oakley, Matt Mills, and possibly Yoanne Folly

I thought he looked good, head and shoulders above a lot of the team. Just bought 5 years too late, and suffering from injury. He also played a big part in raising the team in the play off against Derby when he came on with Belmadi and Rasiak, and played a big part in keeping us up in 07/08.

I dont think its fair to slate him after this game, I have been impressed with Mills's contributions so far. He was our best player against Ajax in pre-season

Can't beleive Neil McCann has flown under the radar here, as with Kerry Dixon, David Speedie, Alan McLoughlin, Steve Wood, Derek Allen, Michael Stensgaard, Darren Kenton, Lucien Mettomo, Jordan Robertson, Jason St Juste, Peter Whiston, and Paul McDonald deserve a mention in Saints crapology too....phew!

He hardly played for us at all, was an Ian Branfoot signing I think..a bit like Colin Cramb, a disaster!

He'll go down as a player who never was able to fulfill full potential with us..amongst many.
