Have you considered that people sharing their thoughts on an up-coming game has little correlation with the atmosphere at SM and the the way people support the team? If we all post that we will win every game and definitely won't get relegated, will that help?

The likes of Austin can't play 90 mins yet can get games and make the bench at least. Why would this be a requirement for RB and clearly not others, I wonder?

If RB wants to play and is working hard in training, it makes no sense at all to sideline him in favour of Targett for the rest of the season, summer move or not. Targett is not the long term answer to the LB/LWB position. He lacks the athleticism, pace, power and sharpness. I'm not sure what's going on with RB but if his attitude is good then we shouldn't be ****ing about. He is still one of the best players we have and the team sheet looks much stronger with him in it.

Ralph and Ralph have already said that he is being touted by top clubs in Europe. How many times have you pathetically denied the prospect of anyone being sold in the past only for it to blow up your face?

They most likely would for any current footballer who dies whilst contracted to a PL club. It’s a pretty rare event.

No issues with those gone or on their way out but we do need a couple of high quality players, ready start and play in the manner RH wants. Leaving that until the summer is a gamble. As good as Ralph seems to be, we can’t expect him to keep squeezing the same from what he has.

Ralph has said that he is only interested in players with a long term view. I doubt we are considering loans for anyone this window.

I think it makes sense in that he will be one of a few in demand(ish) and of value players we have. With Gunn seemingly at least as good, I can see why we would want to cash in now. Especially if we need cash to buy players.

Genious move by the club. Pellegrino was a patsy in place to pave the way for Hughes all along. Hughes appointment this time last year would have been met by widespread dismay. The club yet again innovating and leading from the front. Hats off to Sir Reed.

This is true. One of the forums tatical geniuses was suggesting that our attacking trio should be Gabbi, Long and Austin which would be the most dysfunctional and technically lacking forward line in the league.

We conceded loads of goals with Yoshida and Stephens as a pairing. We can and should start next season with better than both, VVD or no VVD.

I wouldn't mind seeing Puel stay, especially with a (hopefully) better quality and settled squad. If he does go however, I'm pretty sure we could find better. Marco Silva would be ideal for us.
