It seems it will take time for confidence in this team to be restored a little but the main positives from Arsenal and today is the return to a style of play that gives us a chance to get results and makes us look dangerous going forwards. Get to January with head above water and we will hopefully (surely?!) improve the defence.

There is not point in Obafemi so would move Djenepo further up and start with Boufal. Our defending is woeful so our best chance is to get our best forwards on the pitch.

6 years is obviously not realistic but you seem to be forgetting that many governments are committed to zero carbon in the not too distant future, the XR aim is to bring those aims forward before we reach a point of no return. A zero carbon future wouldn't be how you describe, there are many clean technologies that can and should be accelerated in place of fossil fuels. I think it was this year that the national grid was supplied by renewable's only for a record period of time, I assume you weren't sat in the dark, unable to use your computer during those times? If you are accusing XR of fear mongering, why are you opting to do the same with your vision of a carbon free future?

I think Ralph is good for us in the whole and he has done a great job to date all things considered. Yes, there are clear deficiencies in the squad but that said, there are a number of growing questions around man-management and the knock-on effect on team selection. Despite the squad failings, the recent strange team selections seem to be self inflicted.

Could be that Ralph was intending to pull Bertrand from the line-up to accommodate Vest?
