  1. Yoshida is better than Caulker, I'm sure.
  2. So you do believe it now? After spending the last couple of weeks chastising people for believing what the press have (accurately) been writing about the situation?
  3. Were you in the hot tub with Andy Durman?
  4. Romeu very very good. Cedric had a good spell going forward in the second half. Looked more like Saints out there, good pressing, quick passing, kept turning the screw throughout. Only way in which it could have been better is if Rodriguez had scored but that will come.
  5. Yes, been critical of him but he's showing the aggression and speed of thought needed to be a good CM in the prem. keep it up.
  6. Koeman also mentions the impact of changes over the last 13 months. Clearly hasn't had a look on here as what happened a year ago is irrelevant, apparently.
  7. Give it a rest, you're a poor spin doctor. We've had plenty of players agitating for moves in the last 12 months. Do we really need to find anymore?
  8. Yea, be interesting to know in which context it was said....either that we'll sell anything that moves or that we don't want him and would to like to sign someone else. Seriously doubt the latter as he's one of Koemans men but he has been linked to other clubs a few times so who knows.
  9. Don't rule it out. He's already not played in our biggest game of the season. Likely that there is lots of damage already done with players, management and fans.
  10. I thought you didn't believe any of it?
  11. A few sorry saps undoubtedly do or at least are still trying to convince themselves.
  12. :thumbup:Brilliant news if true. It's great that we're being so sustainable, otherwise we could end up like Pompey. Well done Uncle Les
  13. I'm not saying it doesn't but we haven't always had to get quality players in against a background of losing known quality. We lost two of the best players in their positions in the country this summer and the evidence suggests that Cedric isn't fully trusted thus far and Clasie will likely need time to adapt to the league. Have we made a single singing which looks to improve the first team significantly this summer or even helped us stand still?
  14. Sorry mate but that's a complete load of trash. Why does talk of decent or exciting signings automatically equal Ramirez or Osvaldo and not Tadic, Mane, Davis, Lovren, Clyne....?

    Signings

Martini is the most bizarre of all the signings so far and contradicts a number of elements in our transfer policy namely that we don't sign squad players and that we don't block the development of academy players. If Stephens for example is not considered as good a player struggling in the dutch league and refered to as "Cuco the clown" by his own fans, then it doesn't bode well for his career prospects.
  16. S-Clarke has been adamant that this deal was all but done and that Celtic just needed to qualify for Champs League or not. How can it be that with 3 days of the transfer window left, he's still playing for Celtic?
  17. Your blog came across as a complete sniffing your own farts and loving it job. Not even a caveat of caution regarding our approach to signings this summer which is reflected by the new age happy clappers on here.

    Signings

He may not be bargain bin but he's currently offering zilch to the first team in a time when we are creating and scoring **** all. We do need signings to be able to contribute from day in most cases, not in a years time once they've been through Saints super Ivan Drago training routine.
  19. In addition, we don't have any top class academy products really contributing to the team at the moment and it may be a while longer before we do. Having the ability to bring in players like Lallana, Ox and Shaw to the first team has been priceless in recent times.
  20. Sibley said Chambers was ill when he was signing for Arsenal.
  21. There isn't actually a real (recent) link to Vlaar is there?
  22. I guess you have to be certain that the deal will get done if you choose to wait until the end of the window for when your no.1 target is available.
  23. We don't buy success, FFS, we breed it.
  24. Missing out on your no.1 transfer target in the one position we need it the most in the last week of the transfer window, in which we've had over two months to sort it out is being well run?
