  1. Surfing is my first love tbh, saints comes second. It's why i've never had a season ticket because i'd end up missing loads of games if the surf is good. Other than that, gym, 5 a side, hanging with the wife and walking my dog
  2. That's a lie
  3. Cheers for the info Hypo. I think people believe the positives over the negatives because they seem to be backed up by the performances on the pitch and the team spirit within the camp. It's no surprise that Cortese upset some people when he came in. Whenever there is change at the top of most organisations, some people get their noses put out. But often the changes which cause the upset are for the long term benefit of everyone. Anyway, good to hear some positives!
  4. This. The FA are always advocating the development of technique and possession play but have opted for pace and power over a footballing brain again. Oh well, Englands loss is Southamptons gain
  5. Fair enough re City but success and attendance goes hand in hand so if City were able to compete at the levels they plan to then I would have thought that over time, they could potentially be "tier 1". No I'm not saying that Luton should be a tier 4 club and there is no comparion there with saints. We have many other attributes which indicate that potentially, we could compete with the likes of Everton, Leeds etc. This would take some time, but if we could consistently compete in the top half of the prem then I could see us being tier 3.
  6. So you don't think man city have the potential to be tier 1 crab lungs? Re saints, looks about right but if we are successful enough in the prem then i think we have the potential to get to tier 3. Using the JPT as an example for potential we took 55000. Of course we won't appeal to the same level week in week out but a successful saints side in the premiership should see us at around 40-45000 imo
  7. All hail, the great CB Fry has spoken his infinite wisdom! I think the contract signed in January shows enourmous faith from NC. Promotion wasn't in the bag in the slightest yet he must have seen enough to know he wants NA here for the long term, so I'm not to sure about your opinion touted as fact, that NA will get the sack should we be struggling christmas next year. Que aggressive, patronising reply which will get hypo's panties all moist
  8. My main issue with your opinions saint lard is not that you are reserving your gushing for NA but the way in which you be-little promotion by claiming that anyone could have done. That's complete **** and if you really believe that then it shows you know **** all about football. Oh, and if you want to witness free flowing football, go and watch trophyless arsenal. I'm proud the have a team who can not only play but will mix it up accordingly in order to control games.
  9. I wouldn't use anything saggy chops says as an indication of how much is required to get to the CL. In recent weeks he's been banging on about City and their resources but the simple fact is, since they beat AC Milan, they only won 1 PL game. This is just a smoke screen to hide the failings that they have failed to beat the likes of blackpool (twice), wolves, west brom, wigan etc They could have have got the 4th spot regardless of what city were doing
  10. Good news, well done NA. Saint lard, you are a mongtard
  11. I wanna go to vegas : (
  12. MK Dons was awesome, even at 2 down the noise and support was constant
  13. You say that but the second there is any negative speculation you and a few others would be all over it like a rash.
  14. I havn't said anything about forecast, just commenting on a paricular snapshot of a millisecond in time
  15. Not much has changed there then!
  16. Not much in that article really. Typical footballer reply
  17. Where is this 90 degrees? I havn't been out in soton in a long time. Sounds awful
  18. Barnard looks like he wants to bottle him in the face
  19. Our fondations where actually pretty rocky when he came in... ML's passing, awful start, lambert off form and unfit, AP's mysterious sacking etc. It could have easily gone tits up this year but he not only got us up he did it in amazing style. Next season is next season... For now he deserves our thanks and appreciation full stop

    Hammond

I think you're being overly critical of Hammond and our midfield in general. The only fault with Hammond as far as I can see is that he lacks pace and for some reason, he plays better without MS. His range of passing has for me been very good and I recall a game where he completed over 90% of his passes which is impressive. There is no way that we would have conceded so few goals at home this season if our midfield was being dominated more often than not. It doesn't matter how good your defence is, it you leave them exposed and don't control midfield, you concede goals.

    Hammond

Mixed reviews for Dean this season, seems to be one of those divisive players. So what do we think about next season? Can he be relied upon in the champ or do we need someone better. Also, do you expect him to continue as captain? For me, he has been a bit if an unsung hero in the last few months and has kept the midfield together well considering the injurys we've had. Chipped in with some important goals as well. I think Fonte should be made captain next season though.
  22. Ha, Alpine has the smallest d*ck on the SWF!
  23. And yet people kept telling us that we were winning without conviction
  24. Blackburn is a good call, their owners probably wouldn't have a clue what to do if they went down! Doesn't look likely though
  25. So which premiership teams do we want to join us in the Championship next season? I would like to see, Blackpool- would love to wind up holloway again the stupid rent a quote mug West ham- just for how appaling the board have acted this season and another semi close away day Wigan- may struggle if they came down once all their star players have gone
