Agree with this. Miles better than Sterling IMO. His price tage came with the English premium and Liverpool hype obviously but Mane is a better player all round. Would be dissapointed to get anything less than £40M if based on ability and potential.
I'd feel the opposite. In a straight choice between Moyes and Howe, I would go for Howe all day long. Mainly because his stock is quite high and he seems closer to "our type" of manager than Moyes. Plus Moyes is a bit tainted now and close to becoming a comedy character in my eyes.
I would imagine that triggering the clauses in the three contracts as an example could set them back something anywhere between £70-80M so doable if their alleged transfer kitty is accurate. I wouldn't say that there was anything intentional from Koemans side though when the players signed.
Hopefully the clause will include another qualifier like bids from Champions League clubs or from the continent.
The entire history of Everton in my lifetime involved relegation fights with us in the 90's, Kevin Campbell, the Moyes era and then them crying about Martinez for two years. Simply MASSIVE!
Not sure what exactly is within the Saints criteria so it's hard to pick one from the list. Easier to pick one who I don't want in Moyes who does stand out as a bit odd compared broadly to the others.
That was two years ago. Since then, any rumour, post to an article or general discussion around the future which isn't gleaming with positivism is labelled as a meltdown.
The dynamic of this site has evolved over the last couple of years where any thread or discussion around managers/players leaving which is negative in any way is seen as a "meltdown" or people losing grip when any fans of any team anywhere will not always be happy with the prospect of losing good manager and/or players. It's a bit weird.
