That scoreline flattered us and may deceive some into thinking we played okay. We were absolutely awful again and if it wasn't for City's profligacy in front of goal, it could have easily been six or seven. The last 20 minutes proved that City are vulnerable at the back. If only the manager had tried to win the game .....
-
Ha ha. I was talking about the attackers. Redmond and Adams have made a huge difference.
-
Great header. City are average at the back and it's taken us 75 minutes to test them. Shame on you Ralph!
-
You're totally right, but we have no other option what with Reed and Lemina out on loan. The squad we have is ****e!
-
You're probably right, but we certainly won't with what we had tonight.
-
Because he's clueless?

Tonight is not so much about the players he has picked, but more about the formation and the total lack of giving it a go. For me, it should have been 4-3-2-1: McCarthy; Valery, Bednarek, Vestergaard, Vokins; Romeu, Højbjerg, Ward-Prowse; Boufal, Redmond; Adams. At least that way, we would have had a little bit of a go and had some attacking intent in the side. As it is, we are simply laying down and hoping City miss their chances. We certainly aren't going to score!

Sorry that should have read 1(GK) 8 (DEF) 0 (MID) 2 (FOR). Killed us? At least we would have had a 1% chance. This approach gave us no chance whatsoever. We've been camped in and around our own box all half. It's 2-0 but it could easily been 5 or 6.

This 100%

Ralph deserves huge criticism for this line up, formation and approach. He seems intent on ****inng everybody off with his stubbornness of playing five at the back. I appreciate it's City away, but the only chance we had tonight was to try and stop them playing in midfield. Our current formation of 1-8-2 is an absolute joke and Hojbjerg at left back is a mickey take. We will be lucky if we come away with 10% of possession. Enough is enough now!
-
Ralph's substitutions are questionable at best. Armstrong instead of Djenepo makes no sense at all.
-
Five at the back is seeing us have no control of the ball and is inviting pressure. Yoshi should have gone off with Ings through the centre, Redmond on the left and Adams on the right.
-
Our centre backs aren't intelligent enough to play 5 at the back. They always get lost and can't decide who is marking and who should be the free man. We have to play 4-2-3-1 / 4-2-2-2 or we will get stuffed every game. Not signing a decent centre back will cost us dear come the end of the season.

Not sure about how up to date it is, but try this http://vipbox.biz/soccer/watch-2p3nf-watford-southampton?l=48134538

That's another red!

Come on!
-
That has to be red!

Get in! This game is there for the taking now. Please can Sims start for the remainder of the season as the energy and pace he brings is infectious.
-
Totally disagree I'm afraid. We are so open in the middle of the park due to a lack of numbers. Three defenders marking Kane is daft and leaves so much space and time for Ali and Eriksen.
-
Great to see Sims on, but why are we still playing the three centre backs?!
-
This, 100%. His persistence with five at the back is costing us big time.
-
He was offside by millimetres with Kane just slightly ahead of Yoshi.
-
Our defenders aren't intelligent or good enough to play three at the back. No-one takes ownership and they all end up marking no-one. When will Ralph realise this?!
