I couldn't sing for the lump in my throat during his farewell. :-( Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

I also keep fish - and two cats, though not in the same tank ;-). Glad to say I only get fish deaths rarely but it's still a sad event and the missus and I always have a little ceremony of remembrance as we dispose of the poor little bugger. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

I only skim-read Motorcycle News last week but I think the rumour is closer to £5500 which would be a bargain (if it's any good of course) Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

This. Been twice but not since 2005, hopefully again in the next year or two. Definitely much cleaner and safer "in real life" and one of those places you can keep going back to and never run out of things to do. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

Just announced Yamaha MT07 looks like it could fit the bill? Less lairy than the 09 and rumoured to be only CB money... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

XJ6 isn't a bad shout. How about a Kawasaki ER6 or one of the new Honda CB500s? I'm considering a 500X myself... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

Nationalised rail cheaper than privatised rail shocker

Well, living in Durham now I can tell you that East Coast are shockingly bad. Tickets are a small fortune unless you book them months in advance, all for the pleasure of travelling on ancient Inter City 125s from the mid seventies which constantly break down. I'm just glad I work locally as it would drive me mad if I was a commuter. Seriously, they make SWT look amazing! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 -

Agreed - live plants are the way to go. You'll be forever cleaning the algae off of artificial plants, the live ones look nicer, oxygenate the tank and absorb nitrates (fish poo). Not that it means you won't still have to clean the tank/change the water of course! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

The Royal Albert Hall Cirque Du Soleil

Seen Alegria, Varekai and Quidam there in recent years - absolutely brilliant. Personally, I would get Circle seats as close to the middle as possible so you're facing head on to the stage. I would also go for handrail view tickets which are cheaper than normal circle tickets and the view is just as good! I don't know if it's changed now but you used to be able to book tickets direct from the RAH website which would save you all the booking fees etc. than if you go to Ticketmaster or the like. One last word, if it's your first time at RAH be warned - it's a bit vertigo inducing at first!! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 -
Practical Fishkeeping Magazine forum is probably best place to start online - they're all very friendly and patient on there. World of Water was always good and there are a few branches of Maidenhead Aquatics dotted around Hants who are the best chain (imo). You're actually better starting with a bigger tank than a smaller one as they need less maintenance believe it or not. 150-200 litres is a good size that you won't grow out of quickly, can keep most fish in happily but at the same time won't take over your living room! Feel free to pm me if you want to learn from my many fishkeeping mistakes over the years! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

I live in Durham now so surrounded by Sunderland fans and work with a few. They all reckon that they're shockingly bad this season and that we ought to beat them comfortably. Fingers crossed... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
