  1. I think that a European Super League is inevitable and then the domestic league should find a bit more equilibrium. You coul have promotion and relegation into the Euro super league.
  2. Anyone who deserts SFC now for one of the plastic clubs now should be ashamed. It is easy to support a team when it is doing well, but now SFC need its supporters more than ever. We all have to stand together, whatever happens, as this is the only way the club will continue to exist, in whatever capacity. The Phoenix will rise from the ashes !
  3. This could be Glenn Hoddle.
  4. Yes, a manager that is strong, makes a decision and wins over the changing room. When you are a leader you have to make a decision and you have to be strong. The worst type of leaders are those with no authority and who pander to the masses !
  5. I am a Dalek and the hand of OMEGA has been located !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I am not mental but supremely confident that history and the facts will one day prove me correct. I will champion this theory for the rest of my life !
  7. There was not a great field at the time. Hence, why PS was chosen....or what other reason was he chosen ? PS was a totoally biszzare choice !
  8. Bottled it because of a very vocal but misguided bunch of fans that put a petty vendetta above the bigger picture. Pompey fans were able to welcome back Saggy Chops because they knew he could do a job. Where there is a need etc.
  9. I will NOT apologise for blaming the vocal minority who helped to scupper the saints. Who do I apologose to anyway, they are too ashamed to own up !
  10. Well PS did keep plymouth in the CCC.....just !!!!!!!!!
  11. When an analyis of what went wronmg in the last five years is carried out I will be proved right and there are amny fans that agree. You can get personal, but i suggest that is because i have touched a raw nerve !
  12. When we have a serious study of where the club began to decline the failure to appoint Hoddle will be seen as one of the most crucial decisions. A small minority of fans influneced that decision. They know that it was a big mistake but they won't own up to it !!!!
  13. The trouble is that there are people associated with the club at different levels who would like us to conveniently forget that the failure to re-appoint Hoddle and the appointment of Sturrock WAS UNDOUBTEDLY THE SOURCE OF OUR DECLINE...IT WAS THE CATALYST !!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. He did alright for us and you cannot deny that ! He would most likely have kept us in the Premier league !
  15. If Cowen voted against hoddle then he has played a massive part in the downfall of this club.
  16. maybe, I should have been more specific, the tiny minority of fans who put their silly personal vendettas before that of the club. The vast majority of fans were mature and wise enough to see past personalities and realsie that Gelnn was the best manager...you don't have to like a manager as long as he can do the job. Ask an Ipswich supporter 6 months from now !
  17. I suppose that if there is a positive, it is the chance to play at some good old fashioned stadiums. Hope it is just for one year and we can go up via the play offs, but I really think next season is about consolidation. I reckon SMS is the best stadium in the league. Is it the biggest if Leeds go up ?
  18. I have accepted it. However, it is important to know how we got into this mess and those repossible own up to it, including some of the fans.
  19. The fact remains that if gelnn Hoddle had been appointed in 2004 we would have reamined in the Prem I think David Clausentum from Rivals .net sums it up neatly; 'Where the hell did it all start? The departure of WGS and the childish rants of adolescent teen fans disgusted with Lowe's intention to bring back Hoddle. I doubt we would have gone down with Glenda at the helm, but the fans knew best. So there you go, we started the rot ourselves and now look to blame everyone else, even Chris Nichols late 80's era.'
  20. Couldn't agree more, so why in 2004 did we appoint Paul Sturrock, on the cheap and with no Premier experience ?
  21. This tips it in favour of Glenn Hoddle then !
  22. If anyone from Spurs is reading this ... Lallana is a bargain at £5 million and we are only having to sell him because we are hard up.However, if you pay in full (£5 million)by the weekend then i suppose we will be forced to let him go. Cash please !
  23. You're close, but what you meant to say ws the disaster of appointing a manager from L1 to a Premier club at the expense of a proven successful premier and england international manager....influenced by a vocal minority.
  24. Dennis Wise would be a shrewd choice. Wise and Hoddle a dream team.
