# Hoddle was one of our (saints) most successful managers. Hoddle was a successful England manager who was sacked for non-footballing reasons.

The origins of our decline was when the club appointed a League 1 manager instead of a tried and trusted ex saints and England manager in the Spring of 2004. We appointed a kite flyer to pilot a fighter plane, This was the choice of the vocal few.

James is a poor player and I have been saying it for ages. Time to bring back Glenn Hoddle, a manager that knows what he is doing.

I mean.....what ? why ? Surely ? Sorry, but totally confused about what is going on.

We need more movement off the ball and in the penalty area, This creates confusion with the defenders and creates space for later players attacking that area. I'll say it again, movement off the ball is what we are lacking. We are too predictable.

But a good team will know how to beat these tactics. In pschological terms, you have to be patient and draw the opposition out before striking with a killer blow. Glenn Hoddle was the supreme tactician in this respect.

Look again, our best manager is Hoddle if you consider his record was in the Premiership, unlike Burley. The turning point was when we failed to re-appoint Hoddle and some of the fans helped bring this about.

We have had this problem ever since we appointed Sturrock instead of Glenn Hoddle. The club lost confidence and was destroyed by the vocal few.

Hmm, we need to improve this side. as has been said Norwich have just beaten Wigan. Bryan Gunn has spent most of the summer preparing for the new season and it shows.

Yep, Nowich 18,000. They do have a very loyal fan base. I reckon Norwich will be one of the top teams in this division. Very astute buys over the summer and a very good pre-season.

If we get a play off place this year I will be more than pleased.
