Are we ruthless enough. Time and time again we take the lead at a crucial time and then let slip an equaliser. Today was a classic example. We got the goal at a good time, all we needed to do was calm the game down, snuff out LO and then push for the second. There was no need to rush about or get all excited. It is this lack of professionalism, the ability to control a game at crucial times that worries me.

Agreed, Nicholl's teams were very attack minded with the philosophy on simply scoring more than the opposition. We were a good team under Nicholl and put the likes of Manure and Scouserpool to the sword a few times. Branfoot had a totally different philosophy which was the flavour of the month for teams hoping to 'survive'. Even after Branfoot left this became our obsession.

The FANS did influence the decision not to appoint Hoddle. This awful decision was compounded by an equally poor decision in appointing a League 1 manager who had no experience in the Premiership and lacked total credibility in the eyes of the players. SFC began its nosedive, a chain of events was set off resulting in the almost extinction of the club. This was the key starting point of a very unhappy period in the clubs history.

Don't forget the travesty of the failure to appoint Hoddle in 2004. I'm still on this issue 6 years later.

Don't really care what Nicola is like as long as he does his job of getting us in the Premiership. Last time we ( or a vocal minority, to be precise) made a decision based on personality over ability we decided to appoint a rookie nobody manager over one of the most successful managers in the country, we then crashed from grace in spectacular fashion.

What a great man Markus is. I hope we do him proud this season, and I mean the whole club.

There are some very petty squabbles going on. I don't know how people can be like this at such a sad time.
