I see Wurzel has been standing too long on the touchline instead of the dugout.

Glenn Hoddle always gave very intelligent interviews.

Hartlepool game likely to be postponed on Saturday

Nothing wrong with a bit of snow. Get the fans to scrape the snow off the lines. Use an orange football, long sleeved shirts, no poncy gloves mind and goalie wears a short scarf and bobble hat ! Let them get on with it and give them a nice hot cup of oxtail soup at the end with a good pint of pale ale ! -
This is an example where a big name manager who has dealt with international players and been on the big stage himself could identify Ricky's problem and deal with it. NA is Sturrock clone, he can get a donkey to win a donkey derby but he cannot train a race horse.

Just after a long lay off, hitting a bit of form and then s*** happens. Got to feel sorry for the chap !
-
Wonder what is wrong with Holmes, he has just got back to fitness.
-
Yes, see your point.
-
Holmes is potentially one of our best players, trouble is that he spends an awful lot of time in the treatment room.
-
You think that was bad ?, try Sturrock and Wigley !
-
Presumably Chappers is recovering as is Barnard but what has happened to Spiderman ?
-
This would have been a good game for Connolly, who is arguable our best striker. Shame he has to spend so much time in the treatment room.
-
Perhaps a good player but not suited to League 1 type football.
-
Small time club, small time managers. Only Saints as a premier team would employ one of their managers LOL
-
Connolly could be a decisive player in this game and he is without a doubt one of our best players. Trouble is that he spends a lot of time in the treatment room.

Redknapp, we all hate but we all know we missed out, don't we?
Dalek2003 replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
You might hate Redknapp as a person but you know he can do the job and bring the club success. Most fans would choose a manager like that. The tragedy of the matter is we faced this choice in 2004. Most fans might not have liked Hoddle as a personality, but he could do the job, had brought Saints and England success and was just what we needed in 2004. Then...the agenda was hijacked by the vocal few who put their petty vendetta before the club and undoubtedly started the process of our relegation and decline. Since then they have been reluctant to own up to their error and have covered their tracks or else attempted a diversion tactic by looking for other scapegoats. Now they are trying to re-write history by claiming Hoddle was a poor manager at the saints. -
You obviously did not enjoy one of our most successful periods in the Premiership then. Bet you were one of the vocal few that put your own prejudices before the club in 2004.

If we keep winning, then it is OK to keep Lambert in until he gets over his lean spell. Obviously our manager thinks that Lambert is worth starting. We know that a striker thrives on confidence. Lambert is one belter away from his old self surely !

Chaplow's goal was A1
-
Lets see if his team can beat any others in the top 6.

How long to go ?
-
Ecstatic !
-
I did warn the 'easy' brigade ffs. Things are never easy with Saints !
-
Warning ! all 'easy' posters should be banned for tempting fate

We are an ambitious club.
