They are having their season in the sun and i don't blame them making the most of it. For years they were the poor relation on the South Coast and if i were them i would love looking down on the saints. The only way to put things right is by putting things right on the pitch and getting back to the premier league...this is what counts. -
Forte score ! Forte score ! Forte score, forte score forte score ! FORTE SCORE !!!!!!!!!
-
I see what your point ! League 2 football ....now that's a thought !
-
Ok, we will see at the end of the season. I hope we do go up automatically, believe me, but i think it is more likely we will be in the play off lottery.
-
S-Clarke, i understand where you are coming from, but as my previous post states, Southampton as a bigger club brings breater pressures and needs a different type of handling than a tightly knit but very good S****horpe ! In this way NA is untried. Remember the mistake we made in appointing Sturrock in 2004 ? Couldn't handle the pressure, didn't know how to handle players with a bigger ego and the rest is history.
-
I think hes stuffed !
-
Saints are a completely different type of club to S****horpe, more expectations and bigger name players with bigger egos to handle. I am sure that NA will get there, but he is on a steep learning curve and he was a risky appointment.
-
I don't think we stand a cat in hells chance of finishing in the top two, never did. NA is still learning his trade and with a fairly inexperienced manager we should be pleased with a play off place.
-
At least you admit your part in sending us down two divisions. Hope you feel satisfied.
-
With those kind of fans hijacking the club, it is no wonder Hoddle did't come back in 2004. Shame, as it probably cost us our Premiership status.
-
Without a doubt, add CBFRY.
-
I bet the fans slating N'Guessan were the same idiots that orchestrated the anti-Hoddle campaign in 2004. They are complete numbheads and have not learnt learnt their lesson. You would think that bringing the club to its knees was enough, but still they are at it !
-
What was the attendance ?
-
1-0 win is better than 4-4 draw.
-
Brian Clough stated that his Shilton was his most important appointment and that he started building his Championship side from this point onwards.
-
I doubt whether the likes of CBFRY will retract his remark or apologise, he has never done so in the past even when he has been wrong on some major issues.
-
Looks like the Daleks are just in the process of exterminating those intruders !

IMO Cortese is enjoying the challenge and the Liebherr family are very discreetly backing him. Markus was a quiet but determined man, who did not court publicity. I believe the family are simply carrying on that tradition. We will get to the promised land, but it will be in a sensible and sustainable fashion. Long may our association with Liebherr and Cortese continue !

Just back ! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A fair result but to go two goals up and twice let the leads slip is not auto promotion stuff. At 2-0 i couldn't see us losing but the goal we gave away gave them belief. Now i'll read theo other reports to see what other people think.

Haha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very lucky tonight. However, we won and sets it up nicely for the Posh. I have got my ticket and it is a nice day out from Norwich. Watch out for the Dalek !
