  1. I am sure that they were trying to 'shut me up' because they were frightened by how close to the truth I was over the last 4 years.
  2. Talksport saying much the same, especially picking out Cedric and Bertrand. Already know they are off somewhere else.
  3. One can afford to be.
  4. Obvious that Saints confidence is shot to bits. Oh, for a lucky win.
  5. more like it...come on!
  6. Leicester starting to turn the screw....
  7. Unless things change, I can't see us having the will to stay up. What an awful season. 17th....your having a laff!
  8. Leicester are starting to take control.
  9. Makes a change from looking arrogant and complacent.
  10. It's **** or bust!
  11. I expect the second sentence was deemed as more important than the first.
  12. Stoke 1 up against Wham!
  13. I would prefer not to go down, 17th and above is fine. It is risky, my local club Norwich and even worse Ipswich have proved how easy it is to be stuck in the Championship. Having said that, Saints are a club that have no right to take for granted a premier league status. We took our eye off the prime aim, staying up and look what happened.
  14. Yawn...you really don't have an answer.
  15. Sour grapes on your part.
  16. I said that at the time but was lambasted for doing so.
  17. We must give everything we can in the last five games. If we go down, then there should be no regrets on the way we finished the season, as there will with the way we started the season.
  18. Ahem, Hoddle should have been appointed instead of Sturrock. I won't go into the details of the reasons behind that decision!!!
  19. No one on the bus?
  20. What a brilliant post. Can't argue with that. The dithering and indecision in the transfer market was not new as some of us had posted about in previous years. I can't understand why, unless it was because the people at the top wanted to keep cash reserves in the club coffers.
  21. Hmmm...I think we took risks on players that were well short of the ones we replaced. This gradually reduced our effectiveness and the slow decline 'sleepwalk' had begun. No-one seemed to be able to wake the club up and the alarm bells though strong, were not close enough to those that led the club.
