Silly season in full effect. Rickie will not drop down a division the season after scoring 15 in the PL no matter who we sign.
-
Sky sports website is actually pretty bad, stuff they are confident about makes it to the tv channel. Wouldn't shock me if he does go to napoli, I just wouldn't take anything on their website as gospel.
-
Nothing article really, based on quotes from an agent that doesn't name.any names. Just have to wait and see.
-
Negredo's options seem limited at the moment as he said he will only leave for a CL club.
-
I was hoping someone here could figure it out. Best guess is that he's saying Napoli will have several deals on the go as they are not necessarily outbidding rivals.
-
Glasgow Saint has a 100% record
-
Saints News & Talk @SaintsFCFans 4m @tancredipalmeri surely not Damiao and Gomez? Damiao a back up? Tancredi Palmeri @tancredipalmeri 3m .@SaintsFCFans you know, clubs play on different tables when they are not particularly outbidding the competitors
-
Another good shout and Lyon want to sell him.
-
Can you run around a lot?
-
Whatever happened to Nicky Maynard?
-
With our apparent interest in signing Damiao, it appears that Cortese & Pochettino want a striker and are willing to pay huge money to get it done. However, with the recent development that Napoli could well muscle in and hijack the deal. So, who would you try and bring in if Damiao chooses Napoli? I'd try and get Bony in, Vitesse seem to be trying to hold out for more money so he's still up for grabs.

http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/napoli-damiao-piu-di-dzeko-per-il-dopo-cavani-la-situazione/ translation: Looks like Napoli have been told Dzeko is not for sale so have moved on to Damiao, however they are also trying to get Gomez & Lewandowski so perhaps he is still far from their first choice.
-
Also Italian media links Napoli with any player remotely half decent nowadays.
-
According to Sky Italy, Napoli try to sign a lot of players. edit: dimarzio story on this http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?client=firefox-a&hl=en&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&u=http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/napoli-damiao-piu-di-dzeko-per-il-dopo-cavani-la-situazione/

For me, Wanyama is a DM powerhouse that sits next to Morgan and Banega is the box to box player that plays in front of those two, much like Davis but with bags more ability.
-
Not like it really needs to be confirmed, but nothing of the sort was said on talksport.

So the price is 25m euros and we haven't been put off
-
When he's fit and in a team that oesn't want to get rid of him, he's a 15-20 goal striker at PL level
-
For a low fee he would be good, had lots of injury problems in the last couple of seasons though.

Can't knock Cardif's ambition, getting Cardozo would be massive for them (as it would for all but 3 or 4 sides). Having seen Palace and Hull last season and the likelihood they won't spend heavily, it is hard to see three sides finishing below them.
-
Why would he sack his agents if both he and his agents are happy with what Cardiff are offering them as has been reported? Can't see a point in sacking them if he really wants to join Cardiff. My guess is he may feel the agents and their demands are whats stopping bigger clubs from showing interest. They will probably have both, looks like their owners are willing to spend an amount that ****es over what we spent last season to stay up. They are reportedly trying to sign Cardozo too, though I question the wisdom of spending 15m on a 30 year old.
-
Don't be shocked if we won't match Cardiff on wages, Andreas Cornelius, the 20 year old striker they got for 8m from FC Copenhagen is supposedly getting paid 50k pw so god knows what they've offered the likes of Wanyama.
