Hooiveld is having a shocker, pretty much everything Chelsea have created is going through his side of the pitch.
-
I see what he's trying to do with Rodriguez up front alone, but I feel that we need Lambert in the team to hold the ball up opposition teams find it to easy to win back possession quickly and keep the pressure on.

Rennes president has said another PL club has offered them more money for M'Vila so QPR have to raise their bid.

Who we've been linked with for January thread...

http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130116/southampton-eyeing-swoop-lazio-attacker-189374 Corriere Dello Sport have linked us with a move for Mauro Zarate according to talksport

The press in Argentina claim Coloccini is going to have his contract with Newcastle terminated tomorrow. Looking like a bad window for them so far.
-
From the PA guy covering the press conference as Peach is not able to attend:
-
He's also meant to have behavioural issues. Banned from the national team for two years after sneaking off for a night on the town without permission while on u21 duty. There was also a suggestion that his move to Arsenal in the summer fell through because Wenger thought he had a poor attitude.
-
Martin or Seaborne I would guess. Hooiveld, while he is not really PL quality is still magnitudes better than Martin and Seaborne.
-
He'd never underestimate the opponent that's for sure.
-
If any of the sides just above us (West Ham, Norwich, Sunderland & Fulham) are likely going to be dragged into the relegation battle, it's Fulham. They started the season quite well, but have won Been shocking since late October.
-
Let's tear them a new one!
-
What was he saying?

Massive win, Boruc was MOTM with Lambert not far behind. Shaw going off like that is a big concern, have to hope that it isn't serious and he can be OK for Everton a week Monday. Not relishing Hooiveld & Fox playing Wednesday or in any games following that, going to get our **** pushed in with those two at the back. Desperately need another CB ASAP, preferably one that can kick a ball properly.
-
Besides it's the defender's fault. Always running the risk of giving away a penalty if you slide in like that in the box
-
On top most of that half, need to keep it up 2nd half and not flush more points down the ****ter. Rodriguez is a shoe in for next year's Falon D'floor after that penalty winning performance.
-
Easier to close down on teams playing the ball about with no urgency and with as much predictability as Spurs are today.
-
http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/hilton-live-astori-le-ultime-sulla-cessione-per-santon-milan/ Di Marzio also thinks Milan are going to try and sign Santon from Newcastle, which would be a disaster for Newcastle with Coloccini also wanting out.
-
Adkins flat out denying any such meeting took place?
-
Article is by the same guy that claimed Arsenal were going to discuss a move for Shaw on new years day which didn't happen.
-
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/ricardo-lvarez/profil/spieler_76077.html The player Inter allegedly wish to offer us appears to have a suspicious number of knee problems recently and last season though he made 15 starts he only completed 90 minutes twice.
-
If the Fonte injury is severe we definitely need two CBs. Hooiveld is not ideal as a backup option as it is but if he or Maya were to get injured we would end up being forced to play Martin.
-
Seems like Cagliari are trying to start an auction, our offer obviously isn't as much as they would like but where they need the money their only option is to try and draw another club into a bidding war. In the end it will boil down to which club will offer them the most money.

http://sulia.com/channel/ac-milan/f/15c055d3-8d5f-4a92-8620-2a82cb170110/ Update on AC Milan rumour, seems Galliani was discussing a contract extension for Abbiati as he is also one of Vigorelli's (Astori's agent) clients
