In total agreement regarding the timing. While it would have been no less disloyal or disrespectful to Adkins, at least if he was appointed in the summer he would have had a full pre-season with the side to get his tactics across and properly evaluate the squad in person.

Where? It seems likely if this guy and his interpreter/assistant have been scouting the team for 6 months that he will be backed to bring in some new players as he will already have idea where he feels the team needs strengthening.
