  1. The fact that we have to choose between Long and Gabbiadini shows how badly we need a striker.
  2. Poortvliet 32 points from 32 games with what was a diabolical squad for the championship and no money to spend. MP = 19 points from 20 matches with a side that a decent/average manager could easily guide to a higher position.
  3. Seems like a pointless match for us, the team sucks so we'll lose. But it's against Spurs so losing likely won't stir anything in the decision makers with regards to sacking MP unless we take a real thrashing. We really need a new manager in before that Palace game, since they are the perfect opposition for a new man to come in against, get a win and build some instant momentum.
  4. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/12/25/man-city-closing-60m-deal-virgil-van-dijk/ 60m and Pep doesn't even intend on using him as first choice.
  5. 4 wins in 19 makes a 21% win rate, this puts his current record below that of these legendary Southampton managers.... Jan Poortvliet Mark Wotte Stuart Gray Ian Branfoot Only 2 managerial set ups have been worse in club history from a results standpoint. The pairing of Gorman and Dodd Steve Wigley
  6. A clueless manager leading a team of invertebrates. Sack him and get someone in who can install some backbone in the players.
  7. Van gaal recently dismissed borussia Dortmund as a small club I think he'd **** himself laughing if we came calling.
  8. Flawless a total bust, Kodi App doesn't work and none of the channels load if you download the m3u8 playlist and open that with vlc either.
  9. I would rather the owner looked at the manager first before plotting to sell off under performing players. The right replacement should be able to get some improvement out of the players.
  10. Time to flush this turd down the toilet and hopefully the two floaters from the last regime as well.
  11. Black, Watson...Get rid of all Reed's goons.
  12. Puel got us to 8th and a cup final (albeit in a year where the average teams were especially poor). We will never match this under Pellegrino despite the **** teams hardly looking any better. Puel wasn't a good appointment and I wouldn't want him back, but Pellegrino has done nothing to suggest he is anything but inferior to the man he replaced.
  13. Seems more and more like Puel got the boot because he didn't connect with fans and it was an easy way to score points with the fans as opposed to any footballing reasons. After all, Pellegrino seems to be doing little different except arguably worse.
  14. People were too happy to blame that on Puel, rather than the squad. Les, the board and the squad have nowhere to hide now.
  15. Complete with a need to sell before buying, even. Seems like the club neither gained or lost from this takeover, but Kat made a tidy profit
  16. Long story short purchase was financed by Hong Kong bank and investors from Macau. They want a return on that investment. So the club will run exactly as it was pre-takeover Colette with a need to sell in order to fund transfers.
  17. nvm, now it is working.
  18. Still working? None of the channels load on Browser and Kodi for me.
  19. Looks like the back pages of a lot of papers tomorrow are running with a MELTDOWN at Spurs as all the star players agreed with Danny Rose and are allegedly unhappy that their wages pale in comparison to the top earners at the teams around them.
  20. "My agent's copy of Microsoft Office was hacked and it typed up that statement by itself, honest!"
  21. Sam Wallace‏Verified account @SamWallaceTel: Southampton ambivalent about Van Dijk statement & position unchanged: he's not for sale. VVD been in training ground every day & no issues
  22. yep, he didn't go on strike, we are just fining him for going on strike for...no reason at all. Total ****house. Club need to stick to their guns, impose the fine and remove the captaincy from him.

  24. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/15451367.Pellegrino_targets_new_signings/ At least one more... exciting stuff!
  25. I know it's still only early August but everything seems so quiet on in-comings that it is beginning to look an awful lot like we aren't going to bring in anyone of any consequence unless we sell first. The Polish lad was brought in for peanuts in today's market and will have been paid for by Rodriguez getting sold. Could backfire if we force VVD to stay and in return, he spends the season sulking and doing as little as possible.
