Off season cups? The English Cup fixture for each team is up. Iv got a lovely bot team, 2nd round here i come. Level 5 is going to be a challenge but fun, no side has a particularly great attack in my league.. so i should finish 6th and survive.

I had an ACL reconstruction just over a month ago, im 20 and will be out for maybe 6-9 months. This guy is 34 so certainly going to be a lot longer than that. Perhaps a year! If hes torn it, hes done i think. Sad, is a real good leader and definately guna miss him..!

A good lineup.. but i thought we lack ariel presence, i dont see why we drop one big CB for another? Perry is still good, just seems a like for like swap.

Will finish top with 0 losses and hopefully just the 1 conceded, but ready to get ruined in level 5. Should have a bout 2 million to spend to improve on everywhere apart from my midfield which is decent. (passable on its day). This is where it gets interesting!

It is frustrating, now dont get me wrong. Lambert is a quality signing.. but my god we need a defence. Full backs are fine, hes addressed that, but oh my god.. please, please can we get a defence. I would love to think of our Saints side as capable of nicking 1-0 wins. You build from the back surely? If we dont concede many then we can do that! 2 CB's needed. I know its very early days and im trying to shrug off these defeats, and im sure we will turn it around, but we gotta knock these points off asap, and i just dont want us to sort it all out too late.

I think Gillet is really what we need. Real energy in the midfield. I really can't believe he's being left out because of Wotten. Also, when is Holmes going to be back ? He'd do a cracking job in this league and we are desperately missing a natural winger.

I think we need 2.. Thomas hasn't played all that much in the last year, but he is good for this league, fits the bill well etc. As much as I rate Perry, he is getting on and is just too small. We need 2 big strong centre backs so we dont get bullied everytime we play away. That and a proper holding midfielder.

We're gunna be okay at home.. but we're always bullied away. We need some grit. Defender please.

I doubt it to be honest, he didnt want to be here last season, and i dont think much would have changed. Tho Watford did just buy Graham from Carlisle and they seem the only side interested.

I was feeling rather tired when i came on here.. but this news has woken me right up! He is exactly what we need, and what we have ALL been going on about! He is strong, powerful, tall and has a bit of pace. And we know he is going to score goals. You gotta pay money to get goalscorers.. im chuffed with this..!

Maybe, but you could say we should have had someone on the line too. Was just a good header, I dont think any of us thought he could get the power to get it in.

Well, after some reflection I gotta say i'm pretty happy with that. In reality, were playing supposedly one of the best sides in the division, a team that were a whisker away from being in a better division than us. What pleased me was that we didn't look as clueless as we were when we first went into the championship. Every division is different and even though wehad a few youngsters we really put ourselves about. We matched a pretty physical side and some players in particular never stopped running. I know theres a long way to and weare still -9 points, but I think with a couple of new players, a striker, an extra defender, a winger and maybe a more attacking midfielder we could do pretty well. Obviously fitness will come as we go through the seasonas we tired towards the end. Davis - 8 - Well, started as he left off. This guy is fantastic, penalty save and did nothing wrong at all. Murty - 7 - Looked very solid I've gotta say. Another leaderand he really puts himself about. Thomas - 7 - Yes, yes, yes. Looked tired but he is a brute. A few crunching challenges too. Perry - 7 - Seemed dangerous at the other end, and did okay with 3 strong guys coming at him. Harding - 7 - Looked good, gets forward okay and tries to stop the cross. Up against a good winger today. James - 6 - Quiet today, but I like the idea of him there, has a great cross on him. Wotton - 6 - Did alright, a few good tackles. Schneiderlin - 7 - He really impressedme, did what we've heard he can do. Those 2 almost goals, some great long passes and kept it simple. He actually went into some tackles too. Lallana - 5 - Not his position, not his day, but he may have to get used to it. He's gonna get tightly marked but we know he's gonna have glimpses of class. He defended well though, kept plugging away. Paterson - 7 - I like the look of this guy, never stopped running, took his goal well, has a bit of strength and seems fearless. Almost an 8. Could be a good season for him. Saganowski - 6 - Hmm, not the energetic performance I've seen him do before. Tried at times, but clearly not staying here for long. Subs - No one did too much of note. An encouraging performance in all.
