Complete dis-belief.. how amateur can we get? We didnt desereve to win clearly, but when you go ahead that late you HAVE to win. Unbelievable.

The only way you would score any is if one bounced off your arse or fell at your feet providing with with a wide open goal from 2 yards. Apart from that, you would be dominated physically from the very start. Lets take the example of Titus Bramble. He's strong, much stonger than any of us so every time you went up for a header, he'd barge you out the way and clear it no problem. He would muscles you off the ball very casually everytime, and you would knacker yourself out in the process of failing. You would play the whole game with your back towards the goal, recieving passes much harder than you're used to, fluffing every touch and if you tried to turn, you'd fail, even if you succeed, you would be hilariously slow in comparison. And this is just Titus Bramble. These guys have been training at the top level since they were around 15, and peak around 25/26, so if you think you can do a job anywhere near the top level, you are way off.

Would you sign Papa Waigo N'Diaye on a permanent basis?
saints-cris replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Without a doubt I would sign him, think he's been really good, frustrating at times, but good. -
Davis Otsemobor, Fonte, Seabourne, Harding Waigo, Hammond, James, Schneiderlin, Lallana Lambert Gotta play Seabourne as apart from Thomas we have no big centre back. Someone has to help Lambert out though.
-
Some guy did this and trialed with Reading. He was way out of his depth. He was like 25 and was only an OK player it seemed though..

Jon Otsemobor signed on 6 month contract

We needed a right back for god knows how long, (aside from Murty which has been unfortunate) and we got one. Pardew clearly knows what we need. I'm not too bothered about the Norwich fans slating him a bit. A quick right back.. sounds perfect, least he won't get skinned, and hes attacking so he should get to the byline, which is what we've been wanting! -
On OS now. Shame its not Ward, but other clubs wanted him didnt they?

Pardew on 'player not doing so well elsewhere...'
saints-cris replied to Fergie's topic in The Saints
I really couldn't see that, bu only on the basis he's only recently gone there. Fits the bill for Ward perhaps ? -
Oh just say who it is, driving me bonkers is this guessing game. Championship player who Prem clubs are looking at, could be half of the players in that league ! Nothing will be ruined by posting what you know on a forum, everyone else has done it. Lets get a wriggle on so I can stop looking on here.

Just got back, foggy drive back! The main thing for me was that it seemed to not be our day.. we didnt play very well to be honest and shouldn' have started 4-5-1, Connelly and Waigo should have started. Lambert just doesnt have he running in him to be on his own. Colchester, our very own league 1 Derby County.. hoof, I resent the way they play, but they were annoying good at it, busy in midfield pick up the pieces, then hoof it. 2 good moves, but annoyingly exactly the same goals, why we didnt learn from he first one i dont know. Referee, oh.my.god..! What a useless ****ing moron!! Officials were no better. First goal seemed offside, and the second goal, thankyou for giving them a goal kick when it was SO BLATENTLY a corner. Infact, i still have it on my phone, and i cant understand how they didnt see it, so they go up the other end and scored. Ratings- Bart - 7 - Good now that he has confidence, hes great coming for crosses, cudnt do anything about he goals really. Thomas - 6 - Not great to be honest. Lame for going forward. Trotman - 7 - Prob better just keeping hold of him, i thought he was okay. Jaidi - 7 - Clumsy with passes, but again didnt really do too much wrong Harding - - Did okay, didnt get as far forward as normal. Kept their winger quiet, but to be honest they never needed wingers anyway. Antonio - 5 - He seems shot of his confidence which is what made him good, what was he doing after that brilliant ball from Hammond? Hammond - 6 - Not one of his better games i dont think Schneiderlin - 5 - Was he playing? James - 7 - I actually thought he did well.. got stuck in, lacks creativiy though. Lallana - 6 - Lively at times, run at them well sometimes. Lambert - 6 - Please bloody run lad! He needs to play alongside someone. Waigo - 7 - Made us look much more threatening
-
Thank **** for that!! 3-1 of course.
-
Please dont be off.. well up for this one..! Looks like it should clear up though.

Just got 4 tickets today, really looking forward to it now. Forgot to ask how many we sold though, anyone know?
-
Agreed, 4 million for a bloke who wants out seems a bit steep. 2 million and I'm sure it'd be worth a punt.
-
Not sure if he's been mentioned in this thread, haven't trawled all the way through. Aaron McClean though ? Probably a little ambitious, but he wants out of Peterborough. Not sure if he'd want to drop down a division though.
-
Hardly a big deal, if we looked at the start of the season, this would be the one game we would accept we wouldnt get a point from. It sounded like we gave them a game today, we hardly discrased ourselves today, we obviously didnt play as well as we could but they are a very good team. We got a big month coming up, Colchester, Huddersfield, Swindon, Millwall all to play so if we can get points against them, which im sure we will as lets not forget, we are a damn good side too, then were gunna be right up there.

Bialkowski, Thomas, Perry, Jaidi, Harding, James, Hammond, Papa Waigo, Lallana, Lambert, Connolly. Subs: Davis, Trotman, Mills, Wotton, Gobern, Mellis, Antonio. From OS.

Get in, so good to see such a winning mentality in our team! 2 games away from seeing us at Wembley.. come on! And what better way to go into Leeds..!
-
Get in..!

In Facebook terms, I like this.

Yeahhh baby.. oh Ricky..! Cracking performance!!
-
16th now.. tranmere winning.

I played at Fratton Park during the summer, and I can't say it gave me a wow factor. Decent, but doesnt sound quite as good as described as St Marys..!
-
Pompey away, or a big side at home.

Delph was sold for like £9 million? Whats he done exactly?
