Any idea of attendance?
-
Whilst I'm sure you will.. its hard to be sure when you lot dont fill your current one every week when your top of the league.
-
Will definately show the character of the side.. can we beat the teams aronud us when it really matters.
-
To me our form isnt quite enough to make 2nd place ours, which is what we need. We havent had that blistering run which is what you need to get away from the pack. Brighton had that run, and because their a good side, have maintained good form protecting that massive lead they gave themselves. If we have that one good run, ala Millwall last year, or Brighton this year, then we will go up.

Looked like we got a tad lucky yesterday. Not complaining, Colchester was a terrible away day last year.
-
Whilst it didnt change anything, Rickie scored a penalty last min at Colchester last season. We lost and no one could really see the game.
-
No more home slip ups. We have to make all our home games count as our away record is 1 point off Brighton's. Home form is the only thing seperating us really

Were bigger in every area apart from the results side of things, which is what really matters. If we go up this season, we'll be back to being the biggest across the board I'm sure of that.
-
On the plus side, we have conceded the least at home in the division.. and the second least overall.
-
Early goal and we win this one with ease. At home we've conceded the least in the division so no excuses to let them snatch anything. Get some momentum going into the Bournemouth game.

Colchester 0 - 2 Saints - Post Match Reaction

Good result.. win and clean sheet, cant fault that at a tricky place. This next week is massive, we have to win at Yeovil, and a week today is gunna be HUGE. If we want 2nd place, then we have to do that something extra and beat the sides pushing for that spot. We've outclassed them twice this season, we should do it again, whether we will or not is the question. -
Why are we all moaning?

Hudders down to 10 men

For years I have always thought we've been a quiet team, it was last season I thought we sort that out. The amount of times B'mouth have got late goals is annoying, but shows that they have a hell of a belief behind them.

We lost 9 last season. We have now lost 9 this season. To me, that says something hasn't been right all season.

I like to feel I normally stay fairly composed after a loss and weigh up the positives and negatives, but this result has really frinded me. The amount of times this season we have worked to get ourselves in a good position and then blown it is becoming really frustrating and is now starting to make me think we do not have the bottle to maintain a push for 2nd place. I do however firmly believe that a decent run will get us second quite comfortabley, especially with our games coming up. Beating the sides around us will put us in a great position. We have enough to beat anyone in this league but we just are not doing it, especially in away matches. We are scraping through in home games and winning, good yes, but in away games we are just not cutting it. Tonight sounded like 'one of those games'. We dominated, had about 10 corners, had shots off the line etc etc, but for me, losing to Walsall isnt acceptable. Home or away. I really felt confident for tonight and there is no excuse for losing. I was so frustrated listening to that game but even had we scored in the 95th minute to equalize I dont think it would have brought a smile to my face as a draw away to Walsall, albeit 22nd placed Walsall just does not cut it for me. I am not cynical and was accepting dropping points here and there, but it is becoming all too often now and I am starting to think we need to do what Millwall did last season and just blow everyone out of the water for the last 15 games.

ffs. Bloody knew that would happen.

Charlton losing.

Still go tChamberlain to bring on against a tired defence. Scored 3 in the 2nd half at the weekend. ill start worrying at 70 minutes.
-
All over them by the sounds of it. Come on Saints, get the goal.

Last 5 games have been win, draw, win, draw, win. Make that what you will.
