Scottish football is awful. 2 big sides, a couple of lower end championship sides if that. The rest are **** league 1 sides playing in front of a man and his dog. Bravo to Rangers and Celtic getting into Europe, hardly an accomplishment considering who they're up against

Whats odd to me re: Blackpool is that apparently they bidded 750k for Jamie Vardy of Fleetwood Town. They have that money for him.. but only bidded 650k for Punch?

Truly one of my best moments as a Saints fan, especially living just around the corner from Brighton.

What has happened to Butterfield? Always good to see how some of the youngsters will fare. Lallana up top will be good to see too.

Well this has been coming hasn't it ? Have to say, as bad as it sounds, I'm kind of glad we got spanked today. We've buggered up what should have been an easy home game and very winnable away game and it would have been all too easy for us to say Lambert got sent off and that was the reason. We have been crap recently and if we just lost 1-0 we would have brushed over it. Thank god we have some time off now as we desperately need some time to sort things out and get some players in. Cover for Lambert is so crucial now, without him we really struggle especially seeing as Lallana is struggling big time at the moment. I'm not sure our formation is right now, not convinced you can play Guly and Lallana in the same team, think we have to carry them both a little bit Meh, still top, albeit not by much. If we had any kind of good form over the last few games we'd be so clear of top. ****ed off right now but a good January and it'll be fine. Wouldve taken our position going into the window that is for sure.

No doubt about it, 2011 was the best year in my 23 year lifetime supporting Saints. So many wins, a promotion, top of the next league. Seeing players that care, enjoy being here and (most of the time) lots of positivity about the place. 2012 could see us back where we belong. Cheers 2011, bloody good to us!
