Sadly gone are the days of "hes not good enough to play for saints", we are a league 1 side -10 points so not really an attractive proposition for players or a manager, we need solid hard working players who will sweat blood for the cause, not even 11 MLT's would get us out of this division. JW was never the most talented player to wear a Saints shirt but he did try even if his best wasn't good enough then, it could be now in this division

In youth football if we field an illegibal player we lose all points and the opponants are given 3 points, its funny that when our team has been up before hants fa we are told that we are treated in the same way as saints , portsmuff and bournmouth and we are bound by the same rules, i feel an appeal coming on for the 3 points our team lost last season!!

Repair it, then mount the bloody thing on a plinth and worship it everyday from now, in the meantime buy a new one plenty to choose from, sure the MLT testimonial ones should be restocked by now and flying off the shelf

Said on another thread but when i was waiting to get my tickets this morning he walked past and shouted to us all "keep believing" Fair play to the guy he hasn't crawled under the nearest rock like the others have

Whenever we passed the ground there was a good line of people buying tickets, when i was there Leon Crouch walked past and shouted to all of us "keep believing", in a funny way made me feel better

Fair enough, he has been one of the best players this season and the partnership he has formed with JPS at the back has been key to our recent chances of staying up. For where we are and the money we have to spend dont see this as a gamble at all.

Although he is idolised by Saints supporters everywhere, it is a measure of the man and his skills that football fans all over the world (yes world) know who he is and can talk you through his best goals, they all seem to have a favorite MLT goal. How many times have you been talking to fans of other teams and they say something like "I bet you wish you still had MLT in your team". I even have ports*outh mates who admit to his undoubted skills and one even said he paid to go see him at the dell twice because he was that good!!!! shock horror He is considered to have a "Lack of ambition" for not moving on by the press etc, but football fans i know and have spoken to admire his loyalty, that is rare today. Please dont say players like lampard and gerrard are as loyal as him as £140,000+ a week buys alot these days. MLT wasn't on massive wages as we all know, and could have made alot more by moving on.

Simple if you want to sit down, pick another stand, been in the northam once but with small kids it wasn't any good, so i know to sit elsewhere now. The stewards must know they have no chance so just do a couple of "please sit down" gestures and leave it be, there is danger when they wade in, if left there is no danger simple
