  1. How did that happen??? - all of a sudden we're a football team! Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  2. GET THE **** IN!!!!!!!!! Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  3. Hojberg and jwp are nothing short of inept. Can't see the point of either of them Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  4. Fair enough, from the job title and his background as an analyst I'd assumed he was just a part of the coaching team rather than being Ralph's number 2... Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  5. Or look at it another way, we've not got an assistant manager or DoF and there seems to be no urgency to either being appointed - otherwise they would be there already. Strikes me as a move to make the club lean ready for a sale - make the books look as good as possible Sent from my Lenovo TB-X304F using Tapatalk
  6. Manji, what's happened? There doesn't seem to be any announcement?? Sent from my Lenovo TB-X304F using Tapatalk
  7. Has Steve Walsh actually been confirmed and in what capacity or is this more wishful thinking? Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  8. I'm assuming this is from the same manji that said: "We are going to have a cracking squad, Ralph is also rebuilding the board. I’m really looking forward to next season but we should be careful of our expectations. A lot of next season is going to be moulding the squad to the Ralph way." I hope he's right, but I'm sceptical...I don't see any logical reason not to have announced the appointment already. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  9. Must be true then Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  10. That's because it's just more propaganda... The new DOF will arrive in a magic flying bus pulled by unicorns with Quincy Promes, Theo Walcott and a suitcase full of transfer funds. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  11. This imminent appointment has another whiff of bull**** about it.... Sent from my Lenovo TB-X304F using Tapatalk
  12. Completely agree with you for me it's the arrogant approach to recruitment that is at the heart of everything. I don't see why we should expect the owner to spunk his money, he's reinvested what money is there, but we've squandered it on a load of ****e believing our own black box hype and also that our academy is the best in the land. 13. We won 4-0 against a division 1 side... Is Sunday league a step up from division 1 these days? I guess you've gone fishing and I've bitten, but FFS it's crap like this that drags this place down Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  14. Strictly speaking you would say you bought it for the money you paid plus the money you borrowed, not the total amount you will pay including interest.... Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  15. I remember us having a similar problem when WGS was manager and he put it down to fitness. Personally I think it's a lack of fitness and is not having enough leadership on the field. Add one or two strong characters and give Ralph a pre season and I think we'll see something very different. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  16. Genuine question, do you think we're ok up front? For me CB and a decent striker are top for me with a decent backup RB being next. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  17. A bit harsh to blame Hughes???? Hughes didn't get the players fit, coach them or have any sort of plan. Pellegrino was utter cock, but at least he had a plan even if it was crap. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  18. I'm not sure I can bear to hear him say "Bobby firmino" one more time as if firmino is some kind of bin dipping victim Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  19. I knew before a ball was kicked that we'd be playing against 12 yesterday. The thing that astonished me was the level of blatant cheating. Within minutes of the game starting Lucas moura had thrown himself on the ground to win 2 undeserved free kicks, the first of which he was falling over before anyone touched him - I referee kids football almost every weekend and I understand how difficult it can be, but there are simple things you can easily see that will tell you if someone is diving. This then became a pattern for the whole of the game. Someone only had to fart near rose and he was tumbling over like he'd been assaulted. At one point vertongen who must be one of the strongest players on the pitch fell over like a limp lettuce leaf when challenged by Redmond. And then he has the temerity to book hoibjerg for diving... A good call but unbelievable in context of the rest. I also noticed how friend was being very pally with his spurs footballer buddies, the body language said it all. And then there are the big decisions, Sims kicked in the head in the penalty area... Look at the picture on the BBC website, how that isn't a penalty and a booking is beyond me. 2 blatant red cards not given right under his nose. Once again I'm left feeling that he should never ref a saints game again. Hopefully the club will do something about it - someone really needs to stand up against cheating by refs... On the bright side at least we won which is justice of a kind... Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  20. And to think this all started with you making something up! I was only talking about January (which is what this is about) and where exactly did I say we had been doing this for years??? I don't think pelle was a panic buy but please don't let your lack of understanding get in the way of you continuing to not answer my questions. Why do you have an agenda against the club? Why do you make things up? Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  21. So is buying players outside our strategy panic buying or not? Panic buying isn't about numbers but about giving up on strategy for supposed sort term gain. Please define what you believe panic buying to be? Anyway, perhaps you would like to answer my questions? You seem incapable of it... Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  22. I'm sorry this doesnt make any sense for you. How exactly did Austin or Carrillo fit a strategic aim? I'm still waiting for some answers from you but I can only assume you agree that you were talking utter twaddle. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  23. A club that produces the occasional world class player (bale, shearer, Le tiss) or develops a world class player on their way up (van dijk, aldervierld, mane) while playing attractive football and giving the big boys something to think about. An occasional trip to Wembley every now and the odd run out in Europe. I accept we're never going to be one of the big boys or win the league. All this while being a good community club. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  24. Better player than Walcott who a lot of people thought could be our saviour last year... Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
  25. I've already said I believe that Carrillo and Austin were panic buys. What do I base this on? That neither of them fit our transfer strategy of buying players with potential with a view to developing them and selling later for a profit. Carrillo was a desperate attempt to help a failing manager. Austin was a last minute replacement for pelle. What I'm not sure about is why you seem to always have an anti club agenda?
