What I am interested in is why you think we should blindly trust and enjoy a process that isn't working and isn't particularly enjoyable? Yes 7/9 points from the last 3, but get out of the micro view and look at the macro one it is quite a pathetic return so far this season considering we've categorically stated we're aiming for promotion and we are playing some of the dullest football we've played for some time.

Is courage letting your team let the opposition slide through the midfield without putting in a tackle and not reacting to it? Or perhaps it is changing a winning team by putting someone in the team who can't be arsed and then only substituting them with 5 mins to go? Or perhaps blindly sticking to a losing formula with the hope that it might come right eventually when everyone else can see it is fundamentally flawed? You call it courage... I call it incompetence

I really don't understand the value in a striker who cant score a header or a scabby goal from 5 yards. Che was a waste of a shirt for most of the game (again). I'm not sure he's solely to blame for the goal though. The lack of aggression from midfield allowed them the space to score, baz may have looked out of position but an aggressive (brave?) midfield doesn't concede that goal.

Did I say that? I see understanding is a bit difficult so I'll spell it out l for you... My point is what's the point in playing someone who can't be bothered to put the effort in? Without Adams (or a CF for that matter) we've won 2 on the bounce. When he has played he's been at best in 2nd gear. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong, but I'll be very surprised if he does.

Good game especially considering the last few weeks. Certainly some things to build on: - Adam Armstrong seems to be responding to a good run in the side and looks confident and composed (things I never thought I'd say) - sulemana was decent and his pace was a constant threat - formation seemed to help us - baz had a good game particularly with distribution - the defense looked a lot more solid There are still some areas that need work: - the second half wasn't particularly great we seemed to lose our way a bit - Smallbone can't tackle and didn't have a particularly good game other than his goal which was exceptional - Bednarek moved his body out of the way of their goal - Bree and Aribo are a complete waste of time - Adams offers very little energy - Charles' passing is a bit suspect - Frazer's positioning meant we were forced back more than we should have been All in all a good day to be a saint!

Listening to the presser it seems that RM is committing to a better performance with more intensity, that training has gone well, etc - if it's more of the same this week then he's just full of hot air and should go without delay.

I said it before the game switch to a proper 4-2-3-1 with the right players... Baz in goal, defense picks itself. Shea to hold and Downes to play the box to box role. Pick the best 3 attacking miss either play alcarez in the middle and stu and Edozie in the other wide positions or play stu in the middle with Arma or Frazer and Edozie. Press properly from the front and move the ball quickly when in possession. But most importantly put a fucking shift in - when you lose the ball you work twice as hard to get it back. It's not exactly rocket science. 1 last point never ever put aribo in a saints shirt again.

Interesting time for Wilcox. It's clear that RM can't set us up to defend so does Wilcox continue to let RM dig his own grave or does he act and bring in someone to support RM with the defensive side? In Wilcox's shoes I'd do the latter, but I suspect Wilcox will demonstrate his own weakness by letting RM fail.

It's not 2 poor performances though is it? It's 2 losses and only one good performance so far against the league's whipping boys. We have good players and are somehow contriving to mess things up with incredibly naive tactics and RM has the blinkers on. I can't see how this doesn't get worse from here.

For all those calling for RM to get time - what improvement are you seeing? We are getting worse not better. What I expect from a manager is a bit of tactical flexibility. When something isn't working great leaders change things up - so far RM slicks back his shit hair and carries on with the same shit. We've had too many inflexible twats running this club and RM is showing every sign of being another one...

Leicester have been pretty average. We've been absolutely shit. Far too many players who can't be arsed or who aren't good enough. What the actual fuck. I feel sorry for baz - all 4 of our defenders are shocking. Playing out from the back or not there is no excuse for the mistakes we've made today. Martin has his work cut out and frankly I'm not seeing anything to believe he's up to the job.

Couldn't agree more. Looking at all the goals we've conceded this year we have the same problem - our players not being close enough to their man and therefore gifting opportunities to the opposition. Im not sure this is about the players, but more related to the marking system and positioning and players just not taking enough responsibility.
