Manolo was immense and just watch his movement throughout that match. Personally although he may have been tired I'd have left him on until the 90 was up. Now we need to see an uplift in league form as if we revert back to how we've been of late then the rest of season will be dire.

I can't handle another season of boring football..it's absolute dross. How can anyone can defend our style of football this year. the thought of another season of puel fills me with dread. Sorry but that's my opinion for what it's worth.

Problem is the Ralph and Kat are obviously pretty clueless and being led by reed who in the last year has failed again and Again. Root of the clubs issue is Reed.

So underwhelmed with the club at the moment. Cup run papering over some shocking performances of late. Puel seems to be able to set up a team to contain but when we need to go for it he's tactically clueless. The Southampton way has lost its way and the club seem quite happy to amble along. The root of the problem is a chairman who's not on the planet and a director of football who's lost the plot. Both need to resign and puel can't have another season. So so disappointed with what we've become.

As said in match thread after the highs of midweek (Liverpool were very poor it must be said) we have once again produced a load of garbage. it appears some people on this forum are completely comfortable with one decent performance in 4/5 games and our ever discreet board seem so as well. Football is an entertainment business and we are terrible and boring to watch. People state don't blame puel.. so why drop jrod after a decent effort on Wednesday, especially against the team where he came from. Sorry purl is 50% of the issue. The other is the messiah les read for being blind to the fact all summer that we were woefully short in an attacking sense...

Absolute garbage yet again...from the highs of midweek to this. If anyone still thinks we are too good to go down then you really need a reality check. Our board most likely dithering in the transfer market. We have one decent performance in every 4/5 games and people think that's totally acceptable.

Regardless of position it's an entertainment business and those who seem to accept that the crap we are playing is acceptable obviously don't bother to go to games or have so much money that they are quite happy not to question spending it. I simply have no faith in les reed and there's a lot more going on at our club than he's letting on. I wouldn't be surprised to see more transfer requests either.

Last season especially the 2nd half we looked like a thoroughbred racehorse but this season we look Like a knackered plodding donkey. Boring football. We need a change, either puel goes or get someone in to help him.

Firstly if to be believed and the liebhers want to sell the club then dont expect lots of money to be spend on January players. They'll just hope to make to the magical 40 point Mark. I feel the board are mugging us right off, sell and not replacing adequately and expecting us fans to keep stumping up our season ticket money which is a significant amount. Our football is dreadful to watch its boring,slow, predictable and unimaginative. We simply don't have the squad and our bench options are woeful. Tactically we are terrible and so easy to play against, no plan b and plan a seems to confuse those playing. When koemann struggled last year you always felt he had the players to turn it around but I don't see it the case this year. It's also noticeable how quiet Kruger and the magical les reed have been recently hasn't it. I don't think its all rosy right now. The Southampton way has well and truly lost its way.
