  1. Notice that Krueger and reed have gone into hiding when things go wrong. They were lording it right up prior to cup final. These 2 need to go as well as this absolute clown of a manager who simply has no idea how to motivate this team for get it to play with any conviction. The players confidence looks shot to pieces from what I see on the pitch and there’s no leader on that pitch right now. We are in a relegation battle without a doubt. I’m absolutely gutted as a fan right now, no enjoyment, very little hope of anything getting any better. Feel for those fans on the coaches home right now after being subjected to another gutless performance.
  2. **** off pellegrino **** off les read....
  3. Read the lambert telegraph advert. He rated adkins
  4. It shows how absolutely clueless this manager is when he plays with one up front against Burnley who are not going to come here and dominate the ball. Then dyche puts two strikers on and we take off Gabbiadini and stick with one. Forster needs to be dropped for his own good but I’ve my suspicions as to why he won’t. Most likely down to reeds influence on the team and manager and he won’t sack the manager as that will be like tying a rope round his own neck. Reed has to go though and take this manager and complete coaching set up with him. Amazing how quiet reed and Kruger become when we’re in a mess. I don’t think either have the ******** to front up either.
  5. I was there through those Branfoot days.. we were crap but at least it was entertaining at times. Perhaps I’m loosing my passion for it. Perhaps I’ll always be left wondering why we didn’t push on after finishing 6th. But that’s my perspective and I know that many won’t agree and I totally accept that.
  6. Well deserved from what I read.
  7. Bit dull.... that’s being kind. When you are forking out a shed load of money every season you’re entitled to at least see some entertainment. I think half the happy clapper brigade don’t even attend matches. Genuine question but when was the last time you went to a league match and came home thinking how good were we today?
  8. My concern is that should we carry on playing like we are then by January we could be right in the mire considering the games we have coming up. Not sure who we'd attract if that was the case. Think more players will want out than we get in.
  9. Les is totally to blame for this balls up. We’ve gone from Playing attracted attacking football to the dire turgid crab football of the last 2 seasons under les reeds watch. Puel was a defensive manager so to make one mistake could be forgiven but to sign a manager who’s only real achievement was to guide alaves to a mid table position playing a defensive style isn’t acceptable. He either didn’t perform effective due diligence on these managers, missed out on his chosen targets, wouldn’t pay what they wanted or went for a cheap option. But another season of uninspiring football continues.
  10. Toothless up front yet again. Pretty embarrassing again, Brighton aren't that great and we've totally lost any attacking threat against them. Yet again a bore fest ahead. Oh and Forster can't be dropped.....
  11. A deserved win and what a goal to win it. But we were 5 mins away from a 0-0 against possibly the worst team I’ve seen at st marys for a long time. We now have to push on and put a few decent results together. Happy with that though.
  12. If we went down it’s down to the fact that we all knew we needed another striker and falls right on les reads doorstep. We don’t score enough goals but did manage a wonder goal tonight
  13. Well it's windy but can't think it's bad enough to call a match off. It's not forecast to get any worse that it is now. To the game itself I just hope we start with some energy and not the crab, snail, slug football we've been playing this season. Watching the Chelsea v Watford match and very impressed with Watford. Pace, strength, attacking flair and goals. Wish we could have some of that. Head says 0-0, heart says saints 1-0 win
  14. Really can't argue with that assessment. Makes reed's pre season assessment of our preferred style look somewhat foolish. Reed a man who's managerial career was pretty poor shouldn't be allowed anywhere near team selections although I get the feeling he has an imput.
  15. Nailed it.....problem lies with reed, with a managerial record as good as his then how on earth does he end up as head honcho with us.
  16. Can't really take any positives out of that. First 30 minutes we we're dreadful, no pace, cutting edge what ever message MP gave before kick the off seemed lost on the players. Even at 2-2 we were hanging on and that's the most worrying aspect of it. MP looked like a dead man walking in that interview and I don't think he's got much of idea how to change things going forward unless les reed does what he should have done over the summer and get in a decent striker and playmaker. Absolutely no positivity around the stadium before or after.
  17. Was he ever our first choice? Doubt it.
  18. What a player gutted he couldn't get a few more seasons in football. Was so Integral to our recent history and a joy to watch him play. His England goal against Scotland was an amazing moment. We couldn't do any worse than getting him involved within the club.
  19. So we beat Swansea and Huddersfield?? Your deluded
  20. Nothing is going to change for the better until January. We've a manager who seems clueless and unable to accept that his style isn't working and les reed who's not addressed the major issues of last season. We are really poor and certainly could end up in a relegation fight. Shambles
  21. Better bloody not be.... saints fans hopefully made plans for a diversion and can arrive on time. Sod the Man U fans they can sit on the coach all bloody day for all I care.
  22. Better performance today and with better organisation throughout. Palace were gash though so we're face tougher tests. Defensively pretty sound but still issues from an attacking sense. Long put himself about but still lacked support. Our central midfield two were immense and I may not be a les reed fan but he's found a potential gem in lemina. A wins a win but let's see what happens next weekend.

    Lemina!

Immensely strong and powerful and looked great on the ball. Probably with 50m now.
  24. Think the problem is with les reed. His inability to recognise what 30,000 saints fans can see that we lack goals from midfield and we need a decent striker to partner gabbi. He's the route of the problem and if he thinks the squad is good enough he's slightly deluded. Let's hope our manager comes good and results start to turn otherwise he's right in the firing line.
