Think it’s wise being short term. If we failed to stay up and performances were poor then the negativity going into next season could be pretty harmful. Should Hughes do the business then review in the summer. Good appointment though.

Giving any new manager a 2-3 year deal would be a dangerous game though. Good chance that we’re struggle to win anymore matches this season and taking that into a championship season won’t exactly build the confidence. So short term until the end of the season.

Pellegrino has absolutely no player management skills. Players come in and do well then dropped again therefore I’m surprised that there hasn’t been any moans coming from the squad. Today was gutless, cowardly and embarrassing and if the players are reading this on the way home you should be ashamed of that performance. The board, owners and manager on the other hand are a bunch of bastards who have destroyed the club. I’m appalled by what is happening to our club.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if pellegrino wasn’t really on our radar at the start but after failing to land some decent targets les got desperate. There was absolutely nothing in pellegrinos history suggesting attractive attacking football and seemed a very bizarre decision to replace like for like in football philosophy. I reckon les reed is the problem and managers don’t want to work under him. I just think pellegrino is way out of his depth and shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place. Les needs to do one and quickly please.

I think phil brown would get more from this team than pellegrino gets and that’s saying something.

That first 45 mins was just unforgivable in the position we are in. We’ve been garbage all season and how the board cannot see it is bizarre. I can only imagine that les likes having a three way with pellegrino and Ralph and there’s absolutely no way pellegrino will get sacked. It’s like pellegrino must have something over the board. Oh and Carrillo just isn’t very good and to be honest you could have found a player in league 1 who’d have more impact.

While pellegrino is clearly out of his depth I really can't believe how reed and Krueger are getting such an easy ride. They are more to blame than pellegrino.

Stay with les, Ralph and pellegrino no chance

Before the match I said we needed to get the crowd lifted from the very start but we begin the match half asleep and pretty much kill the atmosphere from that point onwards. That second half display was cowardly and Liverpool could have had 5-6 more. Van dijk won’t ever play in an easier match. Stay with pellegrino and we’re get relegated. Change him it’s a still a big chance we will. Thoughts on corillo... so so. Jury’s very much out but what ever his strengths are we don’t appear to play to them.

What the hell was that first half performance all about? Absolutely no pace in the team whatsoever and three of our most expensive signings on the bench. This manager still hasn't a clue about his best team is. Club is a complete mess and reed must take responsibility for that. We are as good as down because we can't buy a win in the league either. If pellegrino doesn't go tomorrow morning I'd be amazed.

Manager out of his depth and so very obvious therefore I don’t blame him completely but what reed and Krueger are doing is basically using him As a smokescreen for their complete complacency and inability to manage the club properly. Everyone could see that pellegrino had lost it after the Leicester debacle bar the two muppets I’ve already mentioned who basically have not to want to be proved wrong by hiring a manager who’d had absolutely no proven history at this level bar playing a very defensive style in Spain. Everything that is wrong stems from the board level. I can only think the new owner hasn’t a bloody clue what he’s got himself in to and is being led a merry dance by reed and Krueger who are mostly likely to be gone at the end of the season with a nice wad of cash. It’s a fricking disaster all round.

Support the players and the manager but any negativity needs to be directed to the directors box... they are the route of the problem

Seems that everyone else can acknowledge the problems at the club bar reed and Krueger. I just get a feeling that these two are struggling to keep their heads above water with failed transfer attempts and generally loosing the plot all round.
