  1. His time is up for me. He wont, and I don't think can, change things. His game management is shocking, and yesterday in particular. Fraser should never have been lumbered with the role he was given. Anyone with any sense would have brought Taylor on rather than Fraser. Negligent management.

If you weren't implying that Isis shared a common goal with the other protagonists, and were aligned with them, what was the point you were trying to make? Isis have nothing to do with this, and won't.
  3. That would be a valid point for a good law. Helping people to die, imo, is not a good law.
  4. Wow. That's all.
  5. Yep. The only way to avoid the perils of a slippery slope is to not stand on it.
  6. It's not outlandish - it's a sad reality unfortunately. Much as I admire Lighthouse's faith in people to do the right thing by their loved ones, and wish that were the reality, that's just not how it always is in the real world. As much as it saddens me that people can suffer unnecessarily at the end of their lives (pets have their misery ended, for example), there's just too much scope for this to he abused to make me comfortable with it.

  8. It's obvious based on common sense and the reality of people. Unwell/old people can feel that they are a burden, and be made to feel that they are. I suspect most of us have experienced that, and I certainly have. And, as sad as it is to stay, inheritance only crystallises after death. Voluntary euthanasia will lead to involuntary/coerced euthanasia. That's obvious.

  10. I'm not sure what the correct answer is, but personally I'd expect to pay on the day of completion. If I wanted an invoice/receipt I'd ask for one, but I wouldn't make the bloke wait for payment.

If that makes you feel better poppet, you believe that. Fundamentally your point that this 'war' involves Isis is wrong, and you've completely overlooked that in a proxy war involving Iran that Isis would not support them as they oppose them. It shouldn't be difficult to comprehend, and I doubt that it is for anyone other than you.
  12. A RB at RB, and a LB at LB? That'll never catch on.

You don't get this do you. Iran and Isis are opponents. They support different branches of Islam. Iran supports Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel. Iran get bombed by Isis. This is not an Isis war. It's Iranian backed militia and Israel.

Jeez Hypo, you obviously believe that Iran and Isis are buddies!! Iran are state opponents of them. Perhaps broaden your knowledge - 4/1/24 is a good starting point. As I say, if you want a debate in other conflicts, start a discussion, and don't be assuming my views on matters I haven't addressed.

That still doesn't explain what Isis have to do with a dispute they aren't involved with. Less civilians die in 'wars' when less civilians are targeted and/or where there are less attacks on places full of civilians. Your disregard for these deaths is shameful. If you want to start a thread about other conflicts, crack on, but I'm not getting drawn into that on this thread.

What's Isis got to do with Israel/Lebanon/Hamas/Hezbollah? And disappointing, although not terribly surprising, that your cool with 42k mostly civilian deaths.

  18. I'm also a non drinker and love a bit of burdock, although not easy to get down South. Ginger Beer is my preference. Bundaberg is great, ditto the fever tree stuff.
  19. I've posted the actual figures. The pound is stronger over the last 5 years, last year, last 3 months, and last day. Trying to rely on a snapshot in time where it's dipped is a bit desperate, and ignores that over sustained periods it's strengthened.
  20. The pound is up 7.28% against the dollar over the last year, up 0.69% over the last 3 months, and nibbled up a wee bit yesterday. Bias getting in the way of facts doesn't make for great discussion.
  21. Yep, although booze doesn't spike uric acid levels as much as people think. The biggest offender is protein, particularly red meat. A big steak is more likely to trigger an attack than the bottle of red to go with it.

I think only there, and to a few on here, is it believed that routinely destroying homes full of civilians to apparently target a single alleged operative is absolutely fine.

Nope. They got away with it in Gaza, and they'll get away with it in Lebanon. They act with complete impunity.
