  1. It's on. According to the OS now. :-)
  2. Indeed, but a call before lunchtime would be daft. The suns coming out and the temperature's on it's way up (as forecast).
  3. The suns out, not much fresh snow last night, fingers crossed it's game-on.
  4. 0-4 or maybe 1-4. Swansea are rocking at the moment and Saints are clearly in trouble. :-(
  5. With the help of Google translate it would seem this is a little spat over Wotte taking over before Poortvliet's departure is properly finalised and settled...
  6. Best of luck. Another time things might have been so different.
  7. They have under-soil heating so it should be all good.
  8. According to the OS he won't be fit because it's been too cold to train outside and he's unable to train in the dome??? Wrong kind of trainers?
  9. Yes. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/nielsen-brings-end-to-watfords-poor-run-628872.html
  10. I stand corrected. It's been a loooooong day. :-)
  11. This was before Jan had really had a chance to observe Dyer properly and before the alleged incident on the team coach and before the whole "handbag" farce. As I said, it's a rumour, hence no proof. Only the usual hearsay. We all hear things from various people, we can only take our best guess as to it's accuracy. It certainly explains a thing or two though...
  12. Dyer was shipped out because of poor attitude and disruptive influence. Jan doesn't want him around the club anymore. I don't imagine this is a financial decision, Saints just want him away from the club. He was shipped out to Sheffield United after a particularly poor performance and, if rumours are correct, and incident on the coach returning from that game. Dyer is felt to be a bad influence on both BWP and McG and Jan seems to think it's better for the club if he's not in the dressing room.
  13. I'm told, by no-one in any real position to know, that Surman is off to Reading for £3.25m, and Lallana probably to Fulham or Sunderland. Wherever they go, £3.25m for Surman would be a good price in the current climate for a player I'd rather we kept.
  14. McGoldrick was better yesterday because he was played facing the goal. Given the chance to run at defences and burst forward from a deeper position he an entirely different player. In most previous games he's stuck up front on his own receiving the ball back to goal and he just can't do it. He needs a Paterson, Stern John, or possibly even a Euell in front of him to get the most from him.
  15. The primary reason is probably just the complex nature and expense of buying up a traded company. So many interested parties, due diligence, etc. Can't just be done between two rich guys in a fancy restaurant.
  16. Doncaster 1 - 0 Saints. :-(
  17. 2-0 Derby. In the end we were lucking not to get well beaten by Brum, Derby should win this comfortably. :-(
  18. Not all that useful but Asturius.com is registered to one Jonathan Moore of Whiteley, Fareham.
